Horrible school! The principal bullied my kid for being African American. Awful.

My kids are having a wonderful experience here. The teachers are happy to be there, the school is clean, the principal is really involved. My son has speech therapy and the improvement since coming here is noticable. Both of my kids love going to school. What more can you ask for?

This school is an incredible community. The teaching staff goes above and beyond expectations implementing new programs and ways to connect with the students. Our students live this school well prepared, confident and overall good people.

In my experience, this school encourages academic excellence in a warm and accepting environment. The P.T.A. is very active and creative. There are always fun events/activities drawing students and their families together. Oh and it helps that the principal is not M.I.A and calls each student by his/her name.

This is my sons first year at Dwyer and while I have nothing but good things to say about the teachers (especially Mrs. Scheetz) the front office staff isn't the friendliest. Being a new parent to a kindergartner Id expect the staff to understand when a parent isn't familiar with all of the schools policies and procedures but when I've been confused or had a question I've been answered without understanding but with annoyance on the staffs part. I've also been given misinformation from the office staff. It's a good thing my interactions with them don't affect my child's education which is why I can say I'm overall pleased with the experience so far. Mr. McGovern is very nice and PTA is also active an very friendly.
