I have one son that attended Lorraine from K-5th. And I have another son still at Lorraine. The teachers are dedicated to the children and bringing out their best. The administration is open to listening and helping parents. Many parents are dedicated to keeping Lorraine "top notch" and volunteer for numerous activites throughout the year. No school is perfect but Lorraine has been a great place to educate my sons. Not sure, why the school's rating is a "6" because in previous years it has always been a 9! Any parents thinking about sending their children to Lorraine, check out the test scores and go meet the teachers. You will not regret it!

This is a great school. Both my kids were here in 3rd and 5th. The teachers and the staff really care and they show it.

I have two children that attend LES. The school and staff here are absolutely AMAZING!!!! We transferred from another school in the same county last year and LES was 2 weeks ahead in their curriculum. They worked with my child to get where they needed to be! Mrs. Alford, Mrs. Dunlop,Mrs. Zahand, Dr.Ray and Mrs. Brock in three office have all been absolutely great in any needs that arise and have excellent parent staff communication. I am very pleased with the education and care my children receive at LES.

Administration, Teachers, and staff are all committed to excellence. My girls were in pre-k and 2nd grade this year and we were beyond pleased with the quality of their education. Great School indeed!!

My daughters just transitioned to LES from a school they attended for years. I was really nervous about the change but it has been a great experience. Dr. Ray takes time to meet parents and assure them that their children are getting the best education. The teachers are dedicated and focused on educational excellence. There are many activities to keep students engaged and reading is a focus. As an educator myself, I see that this school is at the top of the best strategies and skills all children need. Great choice for our family!

Lorraine Elementary is a WONDERFUL school! My son is finishing Kindergarten this school session and my other son will start Kindergarten there next session. I am so happy to be able to have the pleasure of both of my kids attend this marvelous school. The whole entire STAFF at Lorraine is SPECTACULAR. They all genuinely care about the student s education as well as their well being. This school has great activities for the children and they teach on a higher level. The curriculum for Kindergarten students was changed this year to better prepare the kids for the future. The curriculum is quite challenging for the kids but in my personal opinion it prepares them for the years to come. Mrs. Fuller was my son's teacher and her and her parapro Ms. Gasque are a great team and they did wonders for my son who is by the way a little special so-to-speak. I can not say enough about this GREAT SCHOOL. The school principal Dr. Ray does a great job keeping parents informed. Thank you Lorraine Elementary staff for all you do to better our kids. Please keep up the great work!

I had two children who went to Lorraine. I absolutely loved this school! The art and music programs were excellent. There was so much parent involvement, the musicals were always packed! The entire staff was so kind and caring. This was just a great place for kids.

Lorraine is an excellent school, with high parent involvement & even higher expectations of students. Teachers are dedicated to making sure each child receives the attention he/she needs to have a successful academic year. There is a strong since of pride and support from both parents & faculty at Lorraine. Go Lions!!

This is our 3rd year at LES and I have been very pleased thus far with all of the teachers & staff at the school. My son is in 2nd grade and is excelling well. I am pleased.

Lorraine is a GREAT school if not THE BEST elementary school in Rockdale county!!! Very advance in academics and parents/teacher interaction is excellent. My daughter is going on her 3rd year attending Lorraine and we have family members who've gone and still going there, I have nothing but good things to say. I highly command the staff and I pray they keep up the excellent work. I give Lorraine *****

The principal, Dr.Ray buries his head in the sand when it comes to the bullying at his school. My daughter was bullied by eight children at once and Dr.Ray did not even bother to do a thorough investigation. He should make sure that ALL children are safe at his school. He should try to instill a higher standard of conduct at his school instead of victim blaming. This is the worst school my children have attended in the county. Barksdale and Honeycreek are so much better!!
