Our family loves this school. We have two children there (2nd and 6th grade). The level of education far exceeds what I received in a 5A public school district. My 6th grader can write on a level much higher than many high school graduates just entering their 1st year of college (I recently took an English 1301 class in community college and was extremely dismayed at what the kids in there were trying to pass off as essays). The only thing this school lacks is the resources of a public school in the same geographic area, thus, some facilities are not as robust. The previous headmaster had lead the administration into a very rigid and negative place, however the new headmaster is a legacy member at the school, and has returned the school back to the culture that made this school so famous. In effect: if you enroll your children at this school, you and them will be welcomed in and loved as part of the family. You will see the upper-classmen wrestling with the grammar school kids on the playground. Your children will be taught in a Christ centered environment to think critically and logically, to express themselves in an organized fashion, and will know "how to learn", not just "what they learned".

Love the staff at Providence Classical, they really care about the success of the students and it shows. They have created an incredible environment that fosters Christian values into the lives of every student and parent who grace the doors.

We have been at the school for four years (girls are in 6th and 8th grade). We are constantly blown away by the education our kids are getting and thankful for the provision to have them at this school. No school or person is perfect, but I can say without hesitation that this school strives to stay on mission and is a blessing to the families that are a part of it and the community at large.

Admins are way too strict. Rules are created or enforced without reason, and upperclassmen are treated like they're about 5 years younger

Providence offers an exceptional education to students from the youngest PreK students to the graduating seniors. They strive to be consistent in their mission to educated students who will impact their culture for Christ. The community is a caring place for families to connect to other like-minded parents seeking a classical & Christian education for their children.

Overall, my experience at Providence has been good thus far, and I feel more prepared for college than the average student in areas such as coherently writing and speaking, defending my beliefs, and logically thinking. Some of the teachers have been disappointing in the way that they teach, and the administration does not always do enough to help this, even if the whole grade level agrees that, in this instance, it is not the student’s fault. Every teacher does a good job of consistently incorporating faith into every subject, even math. The school continues to consistently develop good characteristics in each student and overall this school provides a very good faith-based education.

Excellent school that maintains a healthy focus on what matters. This community strives to honor God while at the same time providing an education that balances knowledge with character. The teachers are extremely devoted to helping their students be successful according to biblical standards.

They say all the right things, but I don't see it lived out. It all sounds wonderful, but the reality is not nearly all they claim it to be.

From the staff to the faculty to the facilities, my experience has been absolutely wonderful. We came from another classical school in another state so we felt like we knew what to expect but what we found at Providence blew us away. The culture in the classrooms is one of love, grace, and enthusiasm. The teachers love their students and love their job and it shows in the instruction and environment of the classroom. Being new to the area, we were immediately welcomed into the school community and many of the teachers and staff have become our close friends, in addition to many of the parents at the school. Our children (2nd and 4th graders) were loved on and encouraged and cared for during a tough transition to a new city and new school. It is a wonderful feeling sending your child to school everyday knowing he or she has friends, Godly teachers, and will receive a phenomenal education.

I have two children attending Providence Classical school who have attended since Kindergarten. I grew up in this area and felt good about my education in the local public schools. I went on to become a teacher in public schools (upper level math) and then head up an educational business. When I had my own children a friend told me to look into Providence before my children started school. I was AMAZED at the classical education model and touched deeply by the way Christ was taught in every subject. After having my children educated here now for a handful of years, I can say that the school has exceeded my expectations, from excellence in education, to teachers that love and train my children as if they were my own; I can't say enough wonderful things about Providence!

We were initially drawn to PCS because of the fact that it is a truly classical Christian school. The classical approach to teaching is absolutely unmatched in the way it caters to the changing developmental stages of the child. The academic rigor and richness of a classical education starkly contrasts the test centered public school experience I grew up with and is still so prevalent today. I would not have my children educated using any other method. We also wanted our children (now in 2nd and 6th) in a loving, Christian environment. PCS has far exceeded our expectations in both of these areas. The teachers and staff have become like family and above all else, Christ is woven into every single aspect of this school. God is clearly at work here. The school has been a blessing to our family, working with us in bringing up our children to be strong in spirit, mind and body as God intended. We are fully committed to being part of the PCS family through graduation and look forward to seeing all of the wonderful work our children will do in the world to glorify Christ!

Providence spent quite a bit of money to find a headmaster about a year and a half ago. He had the school moving forward and in the right direction academically. However, the board must not have liked the change and has suddenly let him go without explanation. Not a good move for this school. It's own enemy is the close minded board leading it. I worry about the future of this school. Lots of teacher turnover.

Our family has had a great experience at Providence. My children love to go to school and love to learn. The staff and teachers are dedicated to providing a superior education in a Christian environment. Discipline with grace.

PCS needs to offer a more diverse staff body so the children will be exposed to the wonderful rainbow of God's educators, to help broaden perspectives and images of teachers from all backgrounds and to promote a diverse world as God designed it to be.

PCS is a haven for truth pursuit. The faculty and staff are both highly qualified and sincerely interested in the students' growth in all areas. If you believe that your child should be trained to impact his or her culture for Christ, PCS will be a great choice for your family.

Providence Classical School is an amazing school. Their teaching methods, staff, and administration are exceptional. As the father of four sons I could not be more pleased with the way my children have been accepted into the Providence community and the way that they have flourished as a result. I thank God every day for bringing Providence into our lives. Not enough superlatives to list. Simply outstanding.

A fine, winsome Christian community, dedicated to training up a child to impact their culture for Christ. Academically rigorous, with parental involvement and engagement a necessary thing, and without the "games" that some other schools play, PCS is a fantastic school for parents and children looking to get the best from their school years.

Great School. Great Teacher. Excellent Education. New Campus coming soon due to overwhelming enrollment. You will wish you could go back to school and learn the classical way!

Providence has provided a wonderful Christian environment for my three children over the last 8 years. This place is filled with godly men and women who care about our childrens' spiritual walk while providing a rigorous academic environment as well. This school is like an extended family and has been one of the biggest blessings in our lives. Mr. Weichbrodt, our current Headmaster, has been a shining example of what is means to die to self and live for Christ. We are blessed to know him. I urge everyone who is considering a classical education for their children to visit Providence. You will not be disappointed.

Not a diverse school at all more needs to be done to offer more diversity for students to learn and be educated other students from diverse backgrounds.
