The principal Mrs Johnson is awesome and a very friendly lady.Mrs Farmer and Mr Austin are an excellent music teachers. Not to mention Mrs Dobb, Mrs morrisson and Mrs Altendof. We're glad that our kid had a great teachers like them. But we have to give this school 3 stars due to a few reasons. It's very difficult to schedule a conference with the teachers. The homeroom's teacher not even bother to reply our emails. Not to mention the PTO. You won't see the 'diversified' committee members in the PTO. Don't waste your time to enter the storybook 'pumpkin' contest for the halloween.. if you're not part of the PTO committee members or the school volunteers , the chances of your pumpkins' to win the contest is zero .The yearly results always give us the LOL! We've seen the results for so many years .We're glad this is the final year for our kid to be in this school. Can't wait for the school to be over! To Mrs Johnson and all the great teachers at Kuehnle elementary , keep up the great work. For the rest of the teachers at Kuehnle elementary and PTO committee members please put a smiles on your face.

Kuehnle Elementary - This was my child's first year at this school. Front office staff to include school nurse are awesome! They are very eager to help and answer any questions we had for them. They were very quick to respond to any requests we had. I rated "teacher quality" as three stars. This is not overall for all teachers at this school but in relation to the teacher that was assigned to my child this school year for second grade. Teacher was very difficult to schedule parent-teacher conferences with. We had issues that needed to be discussed and it seemed like an eternity just to get an appointment to discuss what we felt as time-sensitive. School itself is nice and located fairly close to our home with minor traffic congestion during drop off and pick up times.

Kuehnle Elementary is a terrific school! Teachers go above and beyond the basics! For example, Mrs. Altendorf always has a smile for our kids when we arrive in the mornings. She also has jogging club at Kuehnle. She comes in early twice a week so that students can jog and earn awards. They are better prepared to sit still in class after working off excess energy, plus they feel good about their physical accomplishments. Thanks, Mrs. Altendorf, for caring so much about our kids!

I think this school was great and wish my children still went there. There were a few hiccups such as teacher who felt it was better for a kindergarten to wet themselves then to let them use the restroom. But when we talked to the administration, they did respond and try to make the teacher do the right thing. They were serious about teaching the children and were very responsive to parent inquiries.

my child attended grades 2-5 at kuehnle (left in 2009). She was only a B+ student but went on to middle school and made A's in all pre-AP classes in grades 6-8. I believe Kuehnle prepared her well. My only complaint is there are way too many very hard PROJECTS that require A LOT of parental help if your kid wants a good grade. The middle school projects my child has had are FAR easier and there are FAR fewer than K elem assigned.

We love Kuehnle! My siblings went there and my child now goes there. The teachers are caring and they want your child to excel. The principal is involved with the children and cares about her school. Mrs. Farmer, the music teacher is an amazing woman. Mrs. Lewis, a first grade teacher loves her students, cares about them and is very passionate about teaching. The front office is sweet and remembers who you are. Coach Irby is a great coach and you will always see him smiling! I recommend this school! The only thing I can complain about is the drop off and pick up method, it's a bit too busy in the mornings and afternoons. That's the only complaint I have! Love the school!!!
