    Spring Lake Middle School is a good school in my opinion.

    My daughter had a great experience at Spring Lake Middle School. We moved from out of the area and she entered SLPS as a 7th grader. They were very helpful in getting her connected with other students! The teachers were excellent and truly cared about their students. The classes are challenging and prepared her well for moving on to high school.

    Curriculum is not very challenging. For a top ten school system you would expect a lot more. And as If curriculum isn't bad enough, the student environment is absolutely terrible. The students are absolutely cruel to each other, extrememely materialistic, money is a priority, they will make racial insults and insult people with disabilities and when incidents are reported, they are not taken care of, so that the teachers can say there is no bullying at 'their school' when in reality, nobody is safe from bullying at this school. Students and teachers bully and get bullied. The bottom line is: SLMS is a corrupted school that means nothing but trouble. I would highly recommend you do NOT send your students here.
