Worst school ever. I went there for 7-8th grade and during 8th grade, a teacher stopped me out of nowhere and accused me of saying the n-word even though I wasn't talking at all walking down the hallways. I confronted the principle about the false report (Me saying the n-word) and he said that even though I was walking down doing nothing, I deserved to be written up because I was "Hanging around with the wrong people". horrible school, a horrible principle, bad environment (There is mold on the ceilings in the hallways and classrooms)

Most of the teachers are great and truly love the kids. The higher credentialed experts running the school are infiltrating sexual identity very young, CRT, SEL, Marxism into the curriculum. Bullying and mental health issues seem to be a common issue.

It has great teachers, they dont give a lot of homework but they give enough. There is not a lot of bullying and different kids can do anything.

i just left this school, it was the most unaccepting place i have ever been. principals were more concerned about dress code than the fact that kids were being bullied. watched 3 fights in just 2 years at this school. fire alarm was falsely pulled many times. boys bathrooms are almost always closed by the end of the year due to destruction of sinks, stall doors, soap dispensers, etc. the only people who like this school are rich, white, heterosexual, cisgender, able-bodied, republican kids. that being said, this is a horrible school.

I am currently a student at the moment and I have been bullied for years and in my opinion, it just gets worse in middle school. many other students and I get bullied by students and even Teachers! they are supposed to make us feel like we belong, but no. they do the complete opposite. and half of the teachers just joke around and don't even try to teach us. They don't treat us like human beings, Just because the Adults are older they can lie about all of us and we would get blamed because we are just "young, naive" kids. so if your thinking about enrolling your kid in this school, don't.

I had a great time at this school, I was able to participate in many different sports and clubs. I could easily find help when I needed it, and the teachers were very enthusiastic about learning, and used very effective teaching methods.

This school never corrects its problems. Drop-off for students at the school has been a mess for years. The new Auschwitz-inspired system at the north end of the building is terrible. Takes 20 minutes to snake through the 8-foot chain link and concrete bunkers while traffic backs up on the surrounding streets. Nothing that far out is cleared in the winter so the kids are walking across ice and over snow mounds across the lot and over the road FINALLY getting to the school. Let the kids get dropped off in the south lot next to the building and let the STAFF park way out there and see how long this system lasts. And when you try to drop your kids off closer to the school on a side street, they sick the local cops on you even though there are no signs restricting parking. What a disgrace! And to think I voted "Yes" on the last bond issue for student safety enhancements! NEVER AGAIN!

Lakeshore Middle School is definitely something to get used to. If you are from out of state or new to the district, like me, there are a lot of different rules. White Pines Intermediate School was very lax on rules and now they become very strict and take great precautions. The teachers are very nice, however they seem to talk a lot about themselves and not about school, although it has only been the third week, so I give them credit for that. I believe that the announcements are perfect! Principle Polston is very appreciative and fair, so this school, overall, is a four out of five star school. Thanks

This school is corrupt at core. It is very unfortunate that the teachers are blinded by it. The the 8th grade teachers are great, but the 7th grade teachers are horrible. However, it is not the teachers that are corrupt. I'm in 8th grade now, but my seventh grade was horrible. Honestly, I felt like I was treated like dirt. The staff, and administration especially acted like we were horrible people. I was and still am a good student with good judgement, and even I was treated poorly. There was many days when I would come home steaming mad, because of how I felt I was treated. I have also seen many people accused of something silly and get in major trouble for it. I believe this school needs to re think how people deserve to be treated. Because this school is corrupt, any new or even current student needs to be very cautious with what they say and do. I also believe principal leadership needs to be rated 2 or 3 stars max.
