Please , please put your absentee form at the page that says forms . Some of us don’t go on FB and every time I need that form, either I can’t find it or it takes me 3or4 days to find it. I’m on my 4th day now. All of us are not tech savvy. But other than that this school is the best !!

We cannot sing the praises of this school enough!! We have one child with special needs and another in typical classes. Both are thriving. The teachers and administrators go above and beyond to treat each student with respect and kindness. They make sure that each child feels cared for and encouraged. They are challenged academically daily and love going to school everyday. There are so many fun activities and special fields trips taken as well as support whenever needed! Our child with special needs has ASD and ADHD. The staff go above and beyond to care for our child and make sure they are thriving and feel safe.

We are now in our 4th year at RGS and love it. We have four children there ranging from Kindergarten through seventh grade. We appreciate the quick response from the administration and the love and care the teachers put into their kids.

The new principal has big shoes to fill and she is failing. Due to multiple issues this year, we have elected to find another school for our son. Previous years have not been an issue(been at the school for 6 years) but this year my child and a few others were unfairly punished and singled out consistently. Another parent shares my sentiments and has also elected to change schools. When I reached out, I was dismissed or blatantly ignored. Very disappointing.

We are new to the school. Moved from another state. It's a child mill that treats kids like cattle. It's week 4 and we are already looking at private schools. Chaotic. Communication issues.

My daughter loves RG. All of her teachers have been great to work with. We especially love the principal.

This review is for their Middle School. I feel the teachers teach middle school children like they are still in elementary school. If I compare the work my son gets at school and what his friends in other Greenville County Middle schools do, its a huge gap. While the teachers and the principal are nice, I feel it would be great if they compare what they do to other good middle schools and challenge their students more. I feel this school is rushing to grow... they are going to open a High School when they have yet to get their arms wrapped around Middle School curriculum.

Our family was new to the school and things were good for the first few months, but caught a teacher lying about my son and also many teachers' yell. My son's teacher complained about her job in front of the class and talked about students. Told my son and his friend on the last day of school to stop acting like stupid 2 year olds. The worst year he has ever had. Thank goodness we rent so we can move out of this school. Cold, cold personalities. The front desk lady is very rude. Did not like this school at all.

So far, we have two going there...K and 1st grade. It's been great so far. Something my wife and I have noticed....the lady working the front desk that sits in the front, to your left if you're facing them....is incredibly rude, every time. Nobody can have a bad day....everyday. She needs to find another line of work because she's not properly representing the school.

Teachers truly care about the students well being and education. It is a struggle dealing with guidance and administration regarding additional help in the classroom. Overall, pleased with the smaller elementary school compared to nearby.

The y do not do much about bullying. My son was bullied and nobody took any action about it. Talked to the teacher and to the school counselor and they did not even talked to the kids that were making fun of my son. This clearly demonstrates no respect for the students and parents. I would expect bullying to be treated with the importance that it requires and it was not this at this school.

We moved into this school district a year and a half ago and have been nothing but thoroughly pleased. The teachers and administrators are top notch. We had a kindergartner, 2nd grader and 3rd grader at the time and we were immediately welcomed into the RGES community. I am so thankful my children attend this school.

This school has very little empathy for kids/parents that are new and not familiar with rules/routine. I feel like a number and that the school has too many kids aboard, clearly an inconvenience. They need to show some respect toward kids and parents!

teacher was very uncaring and just did what she had to do. principal does not even care if you have concerns. all she cares about is gossip and keeping up with all her parents who's parents were her friends.

This is the best school ever! Caters the education to the learning style of the student. Teachers care about making the child's experience a good one so that they want to learn more. I am very glad our daughter goes here!

We are so fortunate to be zoned for this school!! The principal and teachers are wonderful to work with. They challenge the children to reach their potential through developmentally appropriate activities. They encourage parental support by providing an assortment of Family Fun opportunities. With a stringent safety policy you rest easy knowing your children are well cared for.

I HATE!!! the way that the staff treat the parents who are trying to drop off and pick up their kids. I personally witnessed one staff member yell and belittle a father infront of his children because the poor guy made a mistake in the carline. He did not endanger anyone with what he did and surely did not deserve the harshness that he received.

While the school is ok, they do not do much to control bullying. My child is being bullied. The teacher and principal have been contacted about this issue but nothing seems to done to put a stop it it. I am looking into putting my child in another school (preferably a private school) because of this.
