We moved our child from Long Beach Unified to McGaugh and the difference has been astounding. The teachers and administration genuinely care about the growth, development, mental and emotional health of the children. My child has grown leaps and bounds since the switch. The principal and VP are so involved and active and it has a trickle down effect throughout the school. I feel so much more confident in the academic success of my child here than at her Long Beach School.

Both my kids went to McGaugh from TK-5, my youngest just promoted to 6th grade. I miss the sweet, academic, family oriented atmosphere already. The teachers are professional and dedicated, there is a beautiful friendly and accepting atmosphere at McGaugh. Parents support the teachers and academic of all students. There is an inclusive atmosphere. This elementary school is a real gem.

I have 2 children at McGaugh and couldn't be happier with their elementary school experience. The staff is committed to the success of every student and the supportive parent community is amazing. We feel very fortunate to send our children to McGaugh.

We had an Amazing first year of Kindergarten!! Everyone from staff to parents is very involved in everything. Great school!!

My son is going to McGaugh after attending private school. He is very happy with his teacher and classmates. Teachers, parents and the principal are very involve with the students. The schools environment is so wonderful for every student. I could not ask for a better school for my son.

We are very happy to be at McGaugh after attending another school in this district. McGaugh offers a wonderful, well-rounded, stimulating program. The classroom teachers, art teacher, music, and media center make this campus stand out from the others. The environment is much more "down to earth" than others we have experienced. Hooray that our children get to experience a wide variety of families and backgrounds (makes me proud to see all of the military families be a part of our campus). Great school!

My son attends McGaugh and we are so thrilled that he does. What a fantastic environment to be able to go to school at. It's newly remodeled/updated to today's technology and standards. The teachers have been so perfect for him and who he is - they encourage and reward him. My only sadness is that the wonderful extended daycare (Young Adventurers) is no longer and we must follow the path of Kids Korner. We were very very very fortunate to have at least been a small part of YA - we will miss them all!
