Excellent teachers. I work full time but have been welcomed when I’m available to help with school activities. We’ve met many nice kids and families. This school has a strong community.

My daughter was bullied for two years. Nothing was done. She was called into the principal’s office WITH THE GIRL THAT WAS BULLYING HER and yelled at by the principal. As a result from this, she started having severe anxiety about going to school. The following year didn’t get any better. Her teacher was so terrible to her. She was called out in class, in front of her peers, for having panic attacks. Teachers, please realize the impact you have on children. My daughter is still having terrible anxiety with school because of this principal. The racism at this school is atrocious. I read other reviews saying things about if you’re not white and you work full time you’re looked down on, etc… I AM white and I do not work full time, and I FULLY agree with what these other parents are saying. I saw it constantly. I would never recommend this school.

Minorities be warned. You will be treated differently if you aren't involved in the school activities or if you look different or look middle class. This school for years has been a breeding ground for racism and extreme prejudice. The parents smear their racism towards their child and the students ignore and shun the low income students and the Hispanic students. My daughter has been the most friendly and outgoing student for years but still gets outcast by other girls because she is Hispanic. I've been an extremely friendly parent and even helped at the school many times but parents still stay away from me because I have black hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. The teachers seem to be the same way and even tried to hold my daughter back a year because she was struggling in online classes, not even in person school. The curriculum seems to be top notch but if your not white or have a job where u can't participate in the PTA, find a different school.

They need to hire better teachers in this school. Lowell has a great community, but teachers need to be evaluated by the students and parents at the end of the school year.

We whole heartedly recommend this school. The community and parent involvement is top notch. There is not much cultural diversity due to the expensive area it is located.

I love this school and I'm excited about my younger daughter to start next year as well. Parents are very much involved. The main reason I moved to the expensive area. Lowell Elementary is the best!

Kids here are very political, are against kids that are different races than themselves, and kids aren't very nice if your parents are lower than middle class. Other than the kids, everyone is very nice and kind. The education is also very good, promising a decent grade.

My daughter has been here for one year so far and it's been a great experience for her (1st grade) Her teacher is a bless! I was welcomed to teach some Spanish for kids a couple of days and could see how great their teacher is :) I don't think there is a prejudice for parents who work full time, I was working and studying grad school and I felt support from other parents and school. Kids Club (after school program) is good, although I think they could do more different kind of activities thank just crafts, playground and movies (you can sign your child to do homework too)

Great school! Parents are very involved but very prejudice towards parents that look different or are not as involved as they are. Sorry, I have a job.
