There are some great teachers at Bryant. Unfortunately, one bad apple can definitely ruin the bunch and with lack of qualified leadership, this is not a good school to send your child to.

The experience has not been pleasant. It's been disappointing. Time to make changes before the child's academics becomes compromised. The environment also contributes to the creation of school culture. This school isn't for everyone.

Now that we are towards the end of our second year at Bryant Elementary I feel confident enough to give it a 10 star! The fact that the school is small in size helps everyone be aware and follow up with each student[s story]. I have been a VIP for as long as my kid has been attending and I learn so much from being on the classroom with them. From how well teachers handle hard situations to how well they keep the attention and teach 25 students! My second son will be starting K this fall and I feel at peace he will have a great learning experience in this safe environment.

We are into our second year at Bryant Elementary and I couldn't be more pleased. Bryant is such a small school that I feel our children get all of the one on one attention they need to learn and succeed. The office staff as well as the teachers are all very friendly and helpful!

I went to Bryant in the mid 80's and was surprised to see two of my most beloved staff members are still there in 2013. I had Jane Mort for 1st grade and I remember her being fair, kind, patient and humorous. Coach Annie.... Any student who attended Bryant over the past (at least) 2 decades will remember Coach Annie fondly. She had/has exhaustible energy and a fierce dedication to the students she so obviously loves. I had recess under her watchful eye for 5 years and I remember many tender moments and encouraging words. She provided many enriching activities, resolved many playground squabbles and ran an awesome after school program. It's been 20+ years since I've been on campus, but it gives me great pleasure to know she is still a positive influence on the children of Long Beach. Thanks Coach Annie!
