Terrible. The bullying is a problem and the discipline that follows is even worse. Your child has to be hospitalized before anything comes of any violence complaint.

Conpletely unacceptable environment for children. Our Kuds are being punished and parents are not being notified, prior to, during or after.

My kids started patterson just couple of month before vacation and we are extremely happy! With the progress they done.

Over crowded classes and over worked teachers. Over all teachers angry at district and don't want extra students enrolled in their schools.

Patterson Elementary School is one of the great schools in the Orcutt School District. I have visited all its school and the staff and students are very friendly and supportive of the districts programs. I have spoken to parents who speak highly of the district and according to the California Department of Education website, all of its schools are listed in the top 10% of educational standards in the state.

My family has been at this school for 8 years with my youngest in the 4th grade. The principal, teachers, and staff are fantastic and get along well. The parents are involved and now we have our dad more involved with the Watch Dog (Dads of great kids) program. We have great programs provided by our PTA and our P.E. is fun. Very happy to be at Patterson.

Our family transitioned to this school two years ago after the district closed May Grisham. We have been very pleased how the school welcomed us and other families in the same situation. PTA is awesome! Parent involvement is great! Teachers have been wonderful and the Principal is visible and listens. Lots of activities and each year is better than the year before. We started an awesome Watch Dog program this year to involve dads or other positive father figures! Awesome program!
