I have three kids here (one at preschool and two at the elementary), and I love it. My kids are each two years ahead of where they should be academically, but more importantly they are falling in love with Jesus, excited to go to school every day, and making lasting friendships.

My child went to PCS preschool for 2 years and we loved it. Moving into K-6 has been different with lots of operational changes for the school. The teachers for the most part are amazing very caring and we have had a generally good experience with the teaching staff. As numbers started to drop over the last few years I am starting to observe the school taking short cuts that aren't always beneficial to the students (combo classes, no PE teacher, parents volunteering instead of hiring an aide.) While not an educational deal breaker it seems like with a little oversight and management the school could really work on their operational approach. I have always felt that the school was very safe, good sign in and out procedures for safety, and lots of parent involvement. With the pro's come the con's but at the end. I find the office staff to be cold and short but some of the teachers always greet you with a smile.

excellent school! My kids love it! My Kindergartener read better than most kids couple grades higher, his math skills are better than most too. Teachers love what they do and are passionate about making things tailored to the child's ability not just standardizing the class.

Ultimately, it's not a terrible place. I did like the safety precautions (cameras, signing in / out process). Other than that, I do feel the preschool could use some work. The communication was cold, and I wish the school work would have more of the Christian values added. I see a lot of academics in the classroom, but not the early biblical teachings to back them up.

I can't say enough about how amazing Pacific Christian Preschool and Pacific Christian School are. My son went through the preschool program and is now in forth grade at the elementary school. He has had amazing teachers all along the way and I have NO complaints thus far. He is challenged, helped, and loved in academics, his spiritual walk, and socially. My daughter is in her third year at the preschool. She has had the best care and has learned so much in those years. Each teacher has offered their special touch to helping her learn and grow into the amazing and bright little girl she is today. We have been so blessed to have ALL of the staff we have encountered. They truly love and nurture our children in so many ways. I will be forever indebted to these folks. My daughter, without hesitation, will be attending the Elementary School and Junior High and my son will continue through Junior High. Thank you Pacific Christian Preschool and Pacific Christian School for everything! Their love for kids is truly genuine!

I taught Preschool for 14 years before I had my own children. When the time came to choose a preschool I knew it would be difficult because my expectations were very high! I had toured several schools and it wasn't until I came to Pacific christian Preschool that I knew it was the one!! My daughter attended for a year and is now in their Kindergarden program. Not only did my daughter excel in her academics but her social and emotional growth was incredible!! Thanks to her wonderful teacher and staff! My son also attends PCP. The teachers and staff are wonderful!! I have had the opportunity to volunteer working in the classrooms twice a month and I am amazed at how smooth this school operates!

I have had the pleasure of sending my daughter the Pacific Christian Preschool and now the elementary school! It was a very difficult decision on where to send my daughter because this would be the first time she would be left without a family member around. Sending her here was the best thing ever! They made me feel so welcomed and welcomed my child every day with opens arms and very warm hug each day! All of the staff that works at the preschool are all very kind hearted and know all of the children! I have a 2 year old sone who I can not wait to be able to send him here! My daughter is now in kinder and the preschool teachers still ask about her! I couldn't be more happy with Pacific Chrsitian! Thank you for all your hard dedicated work!

I have had children at both the preschool and the elementary. The preschool has been awesome, going back 10 years ago when my son attended. The teachers are nurturing, yet structured to prepare their young minds academically and their hearts spiritually. My 4 year old daughter ministers to everyone in our home. The director really knows what she is doing and children thrive! The elementary administrator has a true heart for God and strives to challenge our children to achieve, and also guides them on the path that teaches them how to do it. He places good-hearted teachers there to help achieve this. Good job, PCS and happy 50th Anniversary!

As a family, we sent our child here with a positive attitude hoping for a great experience while learning Christian values. Unfortunately, what we discovered was that the administration was impolite, not as knowledgeable as they portrayed and not very welcoming after the initial sign up. The teacher was difficult to communicate with. I had to work very hard to get more than a one word or simple answer on how my child's day went. There is no extra help towards the individual student. If a child needs an extra day or two to work at a skill, they won't get it. It's one for all learning. This is preschool...Also, I didn't see too much Christianity put into daily life. If a child had some type of issue with another child, usually scolding would take place and a threat before anything else. I didn't see any "I'm sorry," or "Forgiving" going on. The only teachers that genuinely seemed invested in the kids were the youngest class teachers in the preschool. Other than that, I would liked to have seen, or actually felt that the staff had a love for Christ, instead of going through the motions, which like I said, a couple really seemed too. The days fundraising time came, some kind of love was shown. Something else I didn't expect was the classroom. When you do a tour, it seems on the small side, but for 14 kids plus a teacher, it's manageable. However, when another teacher is ill or running late, that number can double very fast. The rooms are also too small to host all parents, even for standing room. Some events were fun, like picture day and graduation. In all honesty, the substitute teachers were great. This school could use more new and fresh methods, both in teaching and in family relations.

I'd consider this too old, but according to some recent reviews, it seems not much has changed. I was a student here for 7th grade in 2001. We were assigned a particularly whitewashed bible with all of the atrocities glossed over or sugar coated and spun to reflect a particular interpretation. Before going there, I had been raised a methodist, and afterwards, I struggled with my faith for three years until I could no longer rationalize the presence of some intangible higher power, despite attending two weekly youth groups long past the duration of that time. While I was there, a teacher accused me of being possessed, we prayed not for, but TO George W. Bush, I taught myself the value of questioning authority, I learned some people only behave out of fear, not because it's right, and some people tried to pray my ADD away instead of referring me to a doctor. To be fair, three teachers went out on a limb for me, and really helped me to survive.

This school is amazing. Not only are my kids challenged to their potential, but the morale of the staff makes me wish I worked there.

My son has been at PCS since he started Kindergarten in 2011. He loves it. The daycare staff is amazing also. Camp Jag is the best!

PSC is an amazing school which serves the Lord, the students and families with heartfelt sincerity. They offer an well balanced array of classes with a BIblical approach as well as amazing fieldtrips, weekly computer classes and chapel services. The teachers equip themselves daily as they meet before school to pray and have devotions. The school's yearly testing shows how they exceed national average even for private schools.

This is a fantastic school, our daughter started preschool here and will be heading to Jr. High here in the fall. Her education is second to none both academically and spiritually. The teachers and staff are amazing and really do have a heart for God and for teaching Christian values along with a solid academic curriculum. There is a scholarship program in place to help kids attend that might not otherwise be able. The parents become friends and are there for each other. We have never regretted sending our daughter to this school and have referred several other families who also love the school.
