They like to sugar coat their mistakes!! Be careful!! They don’t like to tell you everything, just to make themselves look better and they just care to prove a point to the parents. They do not care about the kids who walk to school, or the kids… they seriously just want to prove a point to the parents. They are CHILDREN!! It’s ridiculous.

I have had 4 kids attend Nightingale. 3 have gone all the way through and my last child has 2 more years left. It is a great school with wonderful teachers many that stay at Nightingale for their entire career. The level of parent involvement is top in the district and always has been which is reflected in student achievement and the great score the school receives on here. The seating is packed to standing room only any time there is an assembly/event/open house/back to school night. We moved to the neighborhood specifically for the school when our oldest was starting kindergarten and we are so glad we made that choice.

I can not recommend this school. The educational practices employed are out of date, the school and its culture need updating. For example my daughter's former teacher felt it was appropriate to post reading scores on a board for the class to see. IEP implementation by general education teachers is horrid. From what I saw in our years at this school was a failure to adapt to changing educational tools, practices, and values. No real program for social emotional learning or character building beyond a few posters, homework was a pile of busy work, no reading program.

The school is great the teachers go the extra mile to help the kids.I have had three of my kids there and am very please with the school

I wish teacher was more approachable....my request to go into classroom to participate was denied. Very dissapointed with large class sizes and no instructional assistants.

This is a great school. Great diverse group of students and excellent teachers. Strong parent participation that continues to grow each year. Great programs, great location.
