I wouldn’t send my kid to Forest Hill if I didn’t have to. Aggressive kids, teachers supporting bulling! No accountability. All and all very poor quality school at the heart of Silicon Valley.

Do not recommend this school - they got the rating solely based on parents socio economic status - this place is such a mess. The principal turn over is quicker than McDs. Teachers don’t seem to have passion for what they are doing - they bring old school teaching methods and make school not so fun environment. Maybe they are just waiting for their retirement and counting down days. We know maybe a couple of good teachers and that’s about it. Do yourself a favor and find a better school.

I went to this school as a student in the 90s, and throughout my time there, I enjoyed my attendance. That was until my fifth-grade year, the worst academic year of my life.My fifth-grade class was out of control, and the other kids turned on me because they didn't like me. My peers bullied me that year, and the teachers and principal knew it. But rather than take action, they chose to do nothing the majority of the time. The distress and hardship I endured damaged my sense of character, self-worth, and how I feel about academics. I'm grateful that faculties in general no longer tolerate bullying as much nowadays as they did in the 90s. So I can imagine that Forrest Hill has changed for the better.Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this elementary school to anyone's child. Not unless the school can have an effective anti-bullying plan and prove that they care about students' learning experiences.

FH is a fantastic school! Coming from a Cupertino school that just focuses on grades and test scores, this school develops the whole child while delivering just as good of an education.

We have had a very positive experience at Forest Hill. My son’s teacher is extremely dedicated- not only does he make sure that the students are having an enriching academic experience in reading , writing and Math but he also makes sure they are having an enjoyable time at school and my son loves going to Forest Hill. The Forest Hill front desk staff is very friendly, helpful and always approachable .The school also has a dedicated gardening section for the students. Additionally, Forest Hill has a very active PTA, that conducts Math Olympiad classes and Science fairs and other exciting NASA and STEM related events. Quite a few after school programs like Chess, Soccer etc are also offered.

We love Forest Hill. The teachers are very involved with the kids. It is a fantastic community. My daughter is happy to go and is learning so much. They do activities in the classroom that make the lessons stick. She is forever telling me how things work. My son can't wait to go into kindergarten. He already knows many of the teachers and staff. I haven't seen a better elementary school. Oh, I also love the big redwood trees in the school yard and the open feel of the campus. A little old, but definitely loved.
