Excellent school, we have been very happy as parents to send our child to Baker. Teachers have been fantastic, and the engagement from the parent community is also great. Children seem happy being in the school.

I’d rate this school approximately 5/10. They are meeting basic requirements for education but do not consider socials and emotional development as an important part of the learning process.

We have left the school. We stayed two years, and were not impressed. Some of the teachers were quite apathetic, and I was quite disappointed with their lack of care and kindness. My child was burnt out on learning by the end of kindergarten due to their ridiculously long homework packets and drill and kill approach to teaching reading. The extended care program was the highlight for us.

Really great school environment-- supportive, fun, strong academics, creative and spirited teachers. My child loves her school, her teacher, and as a family we feel well connected to the school community.

Baker is a great school. Teachers are very friendly and caring. The students are polite and respectful. I have 2 kids currently attending Baker. They loved the school. I like their afterschool child care center at the school that help kids with their homework. It's a great place for student to hang out with friends afterschool and do homework together and have fun at the same time. When i pick them up at 6pm, their hw is done. It's very convenient for working parents.

All three of my kids went to this school from kindergarten to fifth grade and every year there was a joy. The kids loved the school and we loved it even more. Teachers and staff believe in every student and always try to help them achieve their dreams. Parents here are wonderful and students are also very nice. Overall, this is an amazing school and my family is proud to be able to call ourselves bobcats.

This is my son's third year at Baker and we are really happy - he has had great teachers, the community is great, parents are as engaged as they want to be.

We love the school. Both my daughters attended the elementary school and being an Indian (Asian) I was little skeptical about academics. But I was proven wrong. They have amazing teachers who work hard and ensure your kid is always challenged to excel.

This is a great school. Our daughter has a number of challenges in learning and the staff/team who work with her are amazing. She's doing really well and we couldn't be happier. Every day is still a challenge for her but she's feeling very successful and happy so we're thrilled.

This school needs a whole new front office staff. The two secretaries need to be replaced or trained. They are there to serve the public school parents paying their wages. They need an honest to goodness how to talk with parents and kids. Any accidents the kids have at school interfere with these secretaries and principles down time to twiddle their thumbs. Honestly very sorry human beings spchildren have to think twice about before reporting an injury.

Best school ever! Our first kid stayed here for 2 years. We like this school a lot! the teachers are great, students are polite, parents are school nice, even neighbors are friendly!

This school has great teachers and good learning environment. My daughter has been attending this school for the past 2 years and is very happy with the teachers. The homework assignments are correct for the age and interesting for the child.

My son just started Kindergarten, and he enjoys being a Bobcat! The school is well run, and teachers very attentive. My son was having some trouble staying focused and completing his work, so the teacher took the initiative to inform us and work out some strategies together. I'm pleased about the early intervention, and hoping he lives up to the excellent standards of this school. I also like how involved the families are with fundraising and outside activities. A lot of care all around.

This is our first year at Baker and my daughter is in Kindergarten. We are very pleased with Mrs. Smith and find her to be kind but also not put up with my daughter's nonsense, which we appreciate and support. Wonderful to see so much parent support and awesome fundraising. We are looking forward to more years as a Bobcat!

This is our first year at Baker Elementary. My daughter's teacher, Mrs. Smith is amazing with the children. So far any concerns I have had have been addressed immediately. My only complaint is the class sizes for Kindergarten are 24/1 which seems a bit much but I am glad I can volunteer and help out were I can.

I have 2 boys, one is in the 4th grade who has been going to Baker since kindergarten & my other boy is in kindergarten now. All I can say is that the teachers at Baker have been very supportive & have gone out of there way to help my oldest son when he would have trouble with a subject & take the time afterschool to help. The amount of parents that help out at school just should show there appreciation & importance of what Baker School means to them & there children. Thank you Baker for teaching my boys on what they know now & what they will learn later! MF

I really like the mix of kids and how nice the kids are. Mrs. D and Mrs.G. Miss Iwamoto is especially nice. And all the other teachers, too! My kid just joined in Miss Iwamoto's class and she dreads the weekend!

Great Job! Bobcats! You got whole school score @ 929 in the state API report , with the subgroups asian, white and hispanic 994/944/843 respectively. It had been stayed around 905 for years, we finally made big progress this years. We have great teachers, great students and especially great principal! We always have great activities, events and programs in school! We also need to be top in academic score! We made it! Thanks for the whole school's effort last year! It works! So excited! Thanks for all subgroup's efforts too. Your great work makes the whole school move!
