This school is AWFUL. Kids have zero respect for anyone, even themselves. I think most of the teachers have lost the will to care. Guards are more concerned about being friends with the kids than doing their job. Dress code is not enforced at all here and phones are out in class each period. Smoking in the bathrooms every day. Just awful. Can’t wait to get out of this city and this school.

So proud of RHS. They are now an Early College High School. 54% of the student body has a 3.0 or higher. They are doing great work. Great staff a well!

All three of my children are graduates of RHS, without the support and guidance from Admin. , counselling, teachers and all support Staffthey would not have had the successes they have had.2 have graduated with bachelors degrees and my youngest is in college now. He was able to complete 4 college classes while attending Rosamnd High School.In the last four years they have received 1 Golden Bell Award, 2 Gold Ribbon Awards, Best High School Award and Distinguished schools.They continue to excel in all they do with student success in the fore front.Go Runners!

I would not send my student to Rosamond High School. RHS is a small school that is behind about 20 years or more. The principal is horrible and the school treats the students and parents like 2nd rate citizens if you are not favored by the school staff. I would never send my child to this school or district.

Rosamond High school is a good school with a lot of potential. Teachers want students to succeed and learn and do their best to challenge the students that want to learn. We have a strong community that has forgotten about the importance of parent involvement in student education. Parents need to get involved and stay involved in order to turn around school spirit and student accountability in both education and extracurricular activities.

The involvement with Edwards Air force Base ad the Marines have taught my son respect and self discipline. He is now on track for a full scholarship through the Air force. There's no other school in AV that can offer this connection.
