Horrible academics, poor staff, poor security.Students seem to be a little bit off.

The only reason this school is built here is because it’s close to houses but even that has difficulties. There is literally only one road to go in the drop off area so expect HEAVY TRAFFIC EVERY MORNING. No point in being close to home… The map for the school is absolutely trash and don’t expect to be able to use it effectively. The teachers are just throwing homework at you and the schedule you get can either make or break your entire year. For example, I have to walk to each ends of the school for every class! The lunch line is overcrowded, the events are poorly done, and so on.

From a scale or 1-10 I would give it a 2-10. The area is very rural and there isn't anything nearby. The school appears to be so outdated even though it was built 2007. The students don't take great care of their own campus and trash it in the morning or after lunch. Students are rude and disobiendent. Many of the teachers could care less about their students or can't teach in general which is why many students do poor during important test such ad ACT, SAT and AP exams.

Special Ed students have to clean up trash in this heat and I find it unfair,I am disgusted by this.

They got a new principal for 2016. We couldn't be more relieved. This guy seems more legit than this school district, and hopefully can hire and train quickly. In 6 months it already seems better for students and parents. We still deal with the same ol counselor and couple of teachers who have been getting by with acting all motivated when called out. Just wanted to say seems like this school is going to be ok after all.

This school has the potential to be fabulous. I feel strongly that the academic success and opportunities at this school are not correctly represented by the district office, the school admin, and even the school website. My daughter participated in some amazing learning and progressive academic settings before graduating. But, the marketing and representing of the school have always disappointed. It is the opposite of a school with tons of hype and no substance. Can we start by having an effective and up-to-date website? I know budgets are tight. But this school needs to compete with highly marketed nearby schools. The school's website doesn't even begin to do it justice.

I've had years of involvement with Heritage HS due to my nieces' & nephew's attendance. In working at a nearby school, I've noticed a pattern of parents transferring their children out of the Perris HS District. Sadly, momentum can hurt. There are many exceptional teachers at this school. Heritage has quickly made a name for itself in several academic & sports areas. The biggest problem is that the people hired & placed in the responsibility of interacting with the public are not in line with the hiring standards for teachers. I've personally experienced such antagonism that I've wondered if this is addressed in hiring or training.. Most office staff are nice when supervisors are around or when its very slow. I resent being treated this way when I'm there to support the teacher-student relationship . For our family we've learned how to reach the teachers & work together, & we have 2 well-prepared HHS grads in college so far. Please be wary of parent reviews when so many parents blame the school for their own shortcomings. I've seen this so much in my own kids' schools. Heritage HS does have the options for your kids' greatness. It's what they make of it.

Poor teaching and communication from admin and teachers. I am ready to transfer my kids to Paloma Valley; no leadership from Principal

in dealing with this school for several years, we have found it to be overall above-average. there are some fabulous, dynamic teachers doing and accomplishing great things. I would say the worst things are a few defensive, impatient, school representatives in a couple of the offices, and the dangerous highway that must be faced when entering and exiting the school. the main intersection is a death trap.

I have had 3 kids in this school and a fourth one next year. Most of the teachers do care. Is there a few who dont of course thats in all schools. It isnt school fault that some parents havent taught their kids manners they do their best. Most security guards know kids by name and if your an involved parent get to know them. Sports that is biggest problem. If you dont buy softball coach gifts sit the bench. Most drama there is with coaches and the drama they add. Otherwise great place to learn. Fairchild is #1 all the, way.

this is an overall horibble school teachers are rude, counseling office are rude they're just too stuck up. They need to stop being so ignorant and make changes with the way they teach. Security guards are always too busy flirting with the girls they don't even notice all these kids ditching school. This school honestly pays no attention to you what so ever unless you play football or you are a parent of one of the players. if I could give it no stars I would. Save your time, gas and time!!!!! don't take your kids here best school there is here is tahquitz and im saying this because I had two students here and like some parents said awhile back they don't learn anything here just go and hangout and waste time because that's what teachers there allow them to do.

Looks like we will be moving just to send our child to a good school district, such a shame when my daughter know the reputation it has and does not want to go there.
