    All of the teachers are fantastic! They are all so kind! They are great at teaching and I have never felt confused during any topic! Great at providing resources to do absent work. Many elective options there is something for everyone. There are many leadership opportunities, I am currently in 8th grade and I’m in W.E.B., docents, club live, C.J.S.F, and B.O.B. They are all so great! They offer tutoring after school for anyone who needs it. They also offer “jazz band” for kids who like to play instruments and want to do more than regular band. They have recently added new electives. The new electives include drama, Lego robotics, and advanced art! They have many opportunities for the younger kids aswell. They have science Olympiad for all grades. I am pretty sure they also have an art club for the youngers. They offer many field trip opportunities that many other schools don’t offer. All in all it’s a really great school I really recommend it I have loved all my time here and am sad to be graduating this year.

    This school district is fantastic. I cannot understand how it has lower ratings than nearby Indian Creek and Markham MS...Gold Trail and Sutters Mill are much more desirable schools here locally.

    I transferred my children out of the Black Oak Mine school district just so they could go to this school. It was the best decision we ever made! My 4th grader is still playing catch up, but the the teachers are very understanding and go the extra mile to make sure he's up to speed. We have received tutoring help which has been priceless. My son has written several papers in 4th grade, and is receiving a lot of instruction on writing and comprehension. It is a very hands on school, with many opportunities other schools do not have, such as the extensive field trips, music classes and sports. I would recommend this school any day
