I am currently a student here at herbert green and it's safe still say this school is NOT Recommended at all. For starters All student bathrooms are not clean and very unsafe There has been numerous fights in there. Second the cafeteria food has gotten me sick 7 times already and the lines are always massive. third the staff Definitely need more training as a few litteraly have an attitude to everything you say, and certain staff target different children the school has plenty of safety issues and does almost nothing to solve bullying. Also the school barley does any drills last drill we had was 5 months ago, and the lockdowns are performed terribley. overall This school is not good and is not Recommended.

My child has gone to this school for four years now and to say I am not pleased with this school is an understatement. The teachers do not have understanding relationships with students. The staff clearly need more training on how to interact with children. My child has dealt with many issues from other students bullying and harassing them to staff targeting certain children, there is a large lack of consequences in this school system. Many incidents have occurred over the last four years that the principal and school board have done little to nothing about. I highly dislike this school and would absolutely not recommend Herbert Green Middle School.

This school has some incredible teachers. There are three of these teachers that my child talks about most that stand out as good. The first he talks about is the 7th grade history teacher, Mister Garibay. The secound is Mister Keane. Finally, the third is Ms. Battle.

All my kids have gone through this school and have been successful students as they've gone through high school and college. Parental and teacher encouragement, student accountability, and positive reinforcement will help students do well. Read to your kids when young and encourage them to do well in school, and they'll want to learn, study, do their homework, and become positive citizens.

Teachers clearly do not care about the kids, they have a poor way with dealing with bullying and overall my child has gotten sick from eating the school cafeteria food numerous times, just send your child to Markham.

The worst school you could ever send your kids too. Principal and teachers have poor attitudes and don't care about the kids

The school doesn't help you advance in academics and the school doesn't do a good job about preparing you to go to a community after you graduate. i feel that if i graduated now i would drop out after a few weeks of collage because it is a very sheltered atmosphere. it is not a place i would recomend at all.
