I LOVE Kenilworth! My kids love this school! I havent had a problem with anything. The teachers are always in communication with me regarding anything. The school is like family. All my son's teachers so far have been so nice. They take the time to get to know our kids and are invested in their education. We love Mr. Anthony!!!

I am very happy to be sending my son to Kenilworth Elementary. It is not the closest school to where i am living now, but i continue to keep him at Kenilworth. The drive and inconvenience are well worth it. Matter of fact, my only complaint about Kenilworth is the daily mess it is to drop off/pick up my child, but that is on the parents more than the school. The principal, Mr Anthony Pietrangeli, is as engaged a school administrator as i have ever seen. He demonstrates energy and enthusiasm, and exudes a passion for his students as well as his faculty. I have not had to deal with him directly, but every time i have been to the school he is always connecting and interacting with the children, and the kids show exuberance in sharing their moments with him. Miss Molly Martin teaches first grade, and she made my child's 1st grade experience both joyful and rewarding. I cannot emphasize enough how relieved i was to have her as my child's educator. My little guy and i are struggling with the abuse that he experienced during my repeated tours to Afghanistan and Iraq during the war, his mother was derelict in her care of him and he endured horrors that no child should ever go thru. As such, i am very observant of what goes on with my child, both in his behavior and how those charged with his education are handing efforts to heal as he learns. I think that Ms Martin was a blessing to us in that regard. Kenilworth is a school with many challenges to provide a quality education and instill good citizenship in their student body, and from what i have seen they meet those challenges in very successful ways.

At first I was happy that they accepted my child when my top school had her on a waiting list but now I regret this choice of school. The teachers are placed with 35 plus kids and have no aids. They have lost my child and no one even called me, I ended up calling to check on her and that's how they found out. One teacher has personally attacked me everyday verbally about a PASS. Take your kids anywhere but here. No emails or communication from teachers because they have to much on their plate. You never get information about events on time. I pray for all staff and children there. I am taking my child out of the school.

I love sending my children to kenilworth. The teachers are there for my children. They offer many programs to keep my children busy and interested in school. My kids are all excelling and if there is something that we do need help with I have an open communication with their teachers via phone or email. They always make time for their students before after school or during lunch. I am able to speak about multiple grade levels as i have a son in 7th grade a daughter in 3rd grade and a son in kinder.

My girls really love going to school! My oldest daughter came to Kenilworth for 1st grade after spending lot of money and time at a private that couldn't meet her needs is the reason we came to Kenilworth. I am very pleased that my daughter has come so far with the help of Mrs. Bruce, Mrs. King (Benge), Ms. Pope she is now at grade level. She is getting the extra services and help from her teachers and her family. We have a new principal this year that is making an effort to meet and greet parents with coffee with the principal on Friday morning. I am really glad we have a principal this year that is asking for more parent involvement.

I believe that something is going on behind the scenes that is unpleasant, to say the least. What else to make of the massive amount of staff that has resigned? What else to make of the sad-faced children shuffling through the halls? The vice-principal with only ONE year of actual classroom experience? And oh my goodness, what has happened to the once-fabulous kindergarten and 2nd grade? Kenilworth USED to be a great school, but with all of the best teachers gone, class sizes topping out at 40+, an unresponsive principal whose only means of "discipline" is to stand over children and scream in their faces...My family and I are looking for a new school.

I have had my kids at this school for years. My daughter is about to graduate from 8th Grade. My kids absolutely love this school. The staff, faculty and most of the teachers I have come in contact with are great! Mr Flores is one of the best Principals I know! He truly cares about the students and does make it a welcoming evironment! Also Mr. K the VP is awesome!!!!!!!!!
