Excellent Catholic High School! We wanted our sons to have a Catholic education that was more authentic and faithful to the Catholic Faith. There are other Catholic high schools in the Valley but all of them were very subpar on the Catholic dimension. The academics are excellent. Good balance between sciences and liberal arts. My sons have taken all honors and AP courses they offered. Our oldest is now in college and excelling. The youngest is still there. There are things that are negative but you can find fault at any school. But overall the staff strive to be faithful Catholics and are proficient in the areas they teach. Community is very active. Parents volunteer as St. Mary's is not a richy-rich school like some others. So parents volunteer to assist in providing the kids with a ample environment to grow, learn, and exercise their Faith.

I am extremely disappointed in this current Saint Mary's. I had a very positive opinion but for the last 5 years, I must say it has not lived up to the standards. The discipline is out of control. There is behavior that is not conducive to a Christian conduct, and the discipline is nothing. I feel if the 'student' does not have the money they are bullied by administration, and those with the money are allowed to be disciplined with a blind eye, meaning no discipline. What happened to the strong sense of 'molding' the student and assisting the student to became 'leaders' of the future. Now the administration is more concerned with their own agenda and punitive. Wake up Saint Mary's, I have removed my financial support and have encouraged others.
