We absolutely love IDEA! I will say that if you are attending this school for the extra activities - this might not be the location for you. However, my son attended both Kindergarten and now First grade here and I we love it. He has high functioning autism and the staff done a fantastic job at making my son feel loved! To name a few of the best staff: Ms. Williams (SPED), Ms. Armstead (SPED), Ms. Anna (Kinder), Ms. Florido (kinder), Ms. A (First), Ms. Foster (First), Ms. Hodge (First). My son excelled and the focus is on his education. They have homework and as long as you put in the effort to work with staff this is a fantastic place for young children to learn.

Horrible school! Kindergarten class has 30 students, NO technology, NO PE, NO music class, NO art class. Teachers are overwhelmed and can't teach because of discipline problems. Curriculum is a joke! Very little structure. There is ZERO social emotional learning time. 1st grade classes get 20 minute lunches and 20 minute recess. Traffic is a nightmare during pickup. At least a hour wait. Send your kids to a public school. They will learn a lot more and be better taken care of.

Poorly run school: no library, no extracurriculars, limited parking which creates an hour wait time for drop offs and pickups. No IDEA is a more apt school name.

I would've give 0 stars if possible... Administration is a joke. Extremely unprofessional and unprepared for extreme bullying cases, THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING to protect the safety of our children. I honestly can't believe the way the "handle" this situations. Why do this IDEA allows some kids to be mean to other kids? Why the teachers are so careless and unaware of what's is going on inside their classroom? There's no disciplinary actions when it comes to violent behavior, ZERO discipline, it's like kids control the teachers, the classroom and the administration. Kids being bullied daily, getting their school supplies stolen, getting hurt by horrible humanbeings??? Really?... This is seriously the kids who will lead the country in the future?! PROTECT OUR CHILDREN, DO YOUR JOB! What a horrible and unsafe place.

This school is a joke. Charter schools are not required to follow federal guidelines. They teach the students absolutely nothing!!!

Pulled both my children after one year. This school is a joke. No support for special needs. No extracurriculars. All the teachers are new graduates with no experience. My son had three teachers in one year. Administration only cares about test scores, not people as a whole.

The red flags were there from the beginning, but I didn’t want to see them. Charter-based schools can boast high success rates of college acceptance, but the truth is that if your kid doesn’t meet their standards, they will squeeze them out of the program.
