Horrible, If you read this find another place for your child. As for this family - I will never let my son go back there again and this year he is in Kindergarten.

From the minute you walk into the office the staff is there to help and answer your questions. They will go out of their way to make sure you get the answers you need. The Principal is always very accommodating. He is always available and works with students and parents very well. He stays calm and is caring. I’m there a lot, so I’ve seen how he handles the students. I have lunch with my Granddaughters at least once a week. They love their teachers and their school.

Wieland has been a great experience for my kids. The school embraces the diversity of the neighborhood.

My son went here for a couple of months before we could transfer him to another school. The teachers I dealt w in first grade were pretty bad. My son would come home and tell me all of the snarky comments she would say. Telling kids they were going to be on America's most wanted. Also had bad interactions with some other teachers who were very aggressive. The education is a joke, not much of a PTA or parent involvement. We went to every activity they had, and they were all so last minute thrown together. It's quite sad, some of the people really care, but not enough people do.

My kid school is Weiland. My kid is in pre_k. I like the way the teacher taught my kid. I also like my kid to have more home works to prepare for kindergarten.

We sent my daughter here for preschool and had nothing but trouble with her teacher, the principal and the assistant principal from day one. My daughter fell down and scraped her knees so bad blood had dripped down her entire leg and was dry when I picked her up after school. Her teacher told me she could not watch all the kids and besides if she was hurt my very shy four year old daughter should have told her. The next day the teacher left her unattended alone in the bathroom because she did not want to wait for her and took the students back to class without my daughter. She was left standing in the bathroom crying her eyes out until an older student found her and took her back to class. She had the audacity to say the class was just next door and she told my daughter that! No one seemed to think there was anything wrong with this behavior on the teachers part. The teacher also does not work well with shy children either which we were very concerned about. My mother is a teacher and she works with and understands shy children very well. We pulled her out of that school and have been happily homeschooling her ever since. Beware of this school, their low test scores speak volumes!

As a former teacher, turned stay-at-home mom, I had high expectations of both my son's school and his teacher. As the school year approached, I had the normal anxieties that parents have as their children start a new chapter. Not only did Wieland meet our expectations, it well exceeded them. My son's teacher was exceptional as was the entire Kinder team. I was impressed with both curriculum execution as well as activities available to students. Perhaps the thing that impressed me the most was the overall kindness and care I felt throughout the entire year. The staff is terrific. With everything that is put on teacher's plates these days, I am so thankful to be a part of a school that is able to balance the demands of the state with quality instruction and love and encouragement of children.

I was worried about sending my child to this school as we have lived here for a few years. His time came to go to school and he has had a wonderful experience and has great teachers to work with. I feel he has learned and progressed tremendously, and enjoys it too.
