    When I was going to school at SUNY Oswego, I worked at Fitzhugh Park School as a substitute teaching assistant for part of the 2023-2024 school year, and I had a wonderful experience here. The teachers I worked with were very friendly and helpful, and I formed bonds with quite a few of the kids. I was mostly at Leighton during my time in Oswego, but I was always excited to be at FPS. I couldn't remain at SUNY Oswego due to financial difficulties, and it broke my heart to leave. I did come back briefly for a week in April, and I was glad to be back. I miss Fitzhugh Park with all my heart.

    If you have a child with special needs you might as well forget this school. The teachers are not educated enough and constantly harass parents about their children's special needs saying that they don't know how to help them. :((
