Keep away your children from this school they don’t like Hispanic children false accusations to make a accusation against your children too get them removed from this school principal and vice principal don’t know how to manage a situation or investigate without harming others

I would not recommend this school to anyone that values keeping their kids safe or values education. My son went to this school for 3rd and part of 4th grade. We had to remove him due to their lack of accountability with bullies and the staff. My son was repeatedly threatened to get beaten up. We brought it up to the school and they saw nothing wrong with it. The children that threatened him admitted it to the vp and nothing happened. It still continued. Children physically dragged my son to his bully repeatedly.As far as the education piece, when my son was missing almost a month of homework I had to bring this discrepancy up. I had to have a meeting with the teacher and vice principal. They were unhelpful. I explained my son and I did homework every night. The teacher explained the assignments never made it in. I am unsure how almost a month worth of work was not enough for the teacher to engage with me. I believe my son felt helpless there from the staff and discarded his homework repeatedly. The school failed him. It has been a full year and he still has issues after going to this school. I feel these issues were brushed off since there isn't a lot of black children at the school.

My kid was falsely accused of a threat and suspended for three days then to find out that it was false and it was another student that did the threat, that student doesn’t look nothing like my kid. I don’t know why this incident took too long to figure it out. The vice principal accused my kid of lying loudly in the office which is very unprofessional. I had to change my kid from schools since I didn’t feel he had any support from any of the staffs. I do say pay attention to your kids because sometimes adults could be wrong. I hope this doesn’t happen to another student.

My child has gone to this school for one full year and we are in our second year at the school. The administration is wonderful! From the Principal, to teachers, and office staff. I received timely progress reports on my child’s development and weekly updates on what was being worked on in school and what I could work on with my child at home. Completed classwork was sent home to allow me to see progress and aid with development. Any time I did have a concern, the administration was responsive and helpful.

This place is garbage, if you want your child to go to a school where they seem to not care about the children nor reach out to parents about concerns then this is the place for you- Straight to the point on my sons first day he was handed by my wife to a teacher who was supposed to show him to his class, it was made known to her that he had never been on campus or to this school and would need guidance. He was never shown, when time for class started he was lost on his own and actually walked into the wrong class and for some reason the teacher didn’t bother to hold the 1st grader till a yard duty or escort came to assist him, he was simply let go to roam and find his class on his own, his actual teacher updated us that he had walked in alone and in tears. A huge security concern for myself, considering they were extremely strict about any parent being on campus also the principal had just sent a video reassuring our kids would be in safe hands, well not so much. We addressed the issue directly to the principal and the actual teacher via email, twice, but never got a response.We understand the whole short staff and COVID complications but to not receive a single reply or call for an explanation especially from the principal or even the teacher , goes a long ways to show you the type of people that are watching our kids. My son was pulled immediately from this school.
