This schools poor performance is directly related to the parents of the community. Most children live in poverty, with parents that cannot dedicate time for involvement. And the city does little to support these families. Teachers are outstanding, and do more than their part to educate our kids. If you push your child (like any other school) they will excel here. These teachers need more appreciation The school needs Financal supportAnd more community support

I am a preschool teacher with MJUSD for 10 years. I have worked at 3 different sites. The last 3 years I have been blessed to work at the Linda site. This school really understands the importance of building bridges between preschool and elementary. They take the foundations we have built with families and they build on them rather than starting over. They include us in many events, library day and even a torch passing ceremony during our preschool graduation. I love how they have embraced our families and program with open arms. It shows their dedication to families we serve. Wonderful Kindergarten teachers also :)

My daughter went there for kindergarten, (great teacher)and then first grade. (again, great teacher) until the 2nd grade. The teacher she had there in the 2nd grade was constantly shoving Obama down her throat. I pulled her and sent to another school at first opportunity. It's fine if you have your own opinion, but the school should not allowed this to take place.
