This school is horrible if your anything other than a popular kid. You get stuff yelled at you in the hallways. Slurs are constantly being used and it's overall a horrible place.

I used to be a student at this school, It was probably the worst school I’ve EVER been in. The school nurses were BARELY qualified, They would send you truancy letters even if you called WITH A DOCTORS NOTE, School counselors didn’t help me AT ALL with bullying and stress, They say that they are all about “No bullies” But when you come to them with proof, they IGNORE you. This is an AWFUL school and I wouldn’t wish it upon ANYONE.

Overall we've had a great experience at this school. It's lacking in community spirit but that will come over time I guess. Staff is great as well.

They have after school programs for kids that are struggling & $5 per kid per day after school care. Mostly great teachers and the school is large enough if you get one you don't care for you can trade for another in most circumstances.

I am currently a high schooler but I went to Riverbend from 6th grade to 8th grade. I struggled really hard in English and Math, so in the 6th grade they put me in a lower class and helped me get up to where everyone else was at. I graduated 6th grade with flying colors, I went from 5th grade F's to 6th grade A's through D's, 7th grade came around and I was officially where the other kids were academically. I passed 7th grade with B+'s and C+'s. Then 8th grade came, and that was my best year, I graduated my 8th grade year with a 3.33 GPA. I was in honors roll English and I passed math with a strong C. I was so happy for what this school has been able to do for me. It really helped me out for my high school years. This school helped me academically, and I am so thankful for that.

My child is a student at River Bend and we are very pleased with the teaching staff at this institution. We have loved all of her teachers and we look forward to many years to come!
