My husband and I are helping to raise our grandson who has developmental disabilities. He's been in early intervention since he was 2. Now 6 yrs old and in first grade, he is in his 3rd year at Radcliffe School. At age 2 he began a half day program at Spring Garden school and the second year was transferred to Radcliffe. Initially I worried about them placing him elsewhere, but within the first year it was clear that Radcliffe was the perfect place for our grandson. They nearly had a red carpet rolled out; going above and beyond to work with him and communicate with us. All in all they got him to a good place. He still has issues with focus and patience but in two years our grandson has made great progress in many different areas including but not limited to social skills such as patience, control, anger management but also in general learning areas such as speech, reading, math, science and history. He is actually very smart! This year the school began to integrate him into a few mainstream classes. This means a lot to us because here at home he gets treated like a typical child. Radcliffe has a lot of resources for children with disabilities of all sorts. Happy Grandparents!

I have two of kids in this school. And I am honestly impressed. Having just bought a home in Nutley last year a big factor in my home purchase was school rating and it is true. Some people complain about taxes, but our children are getting a great education and the towns commitment to education is helping home values.
