My daughter is new to GSA this year and has been welcomed with open arms by both the students and staff. She has thrived being back at school (since public school was so inconsistent being in person and virtual). Teachers and students know each other and provide a positive community to be a part of. We are so glad we made the change to GSA from public school.

Great school, friendly staff. Everyone feels like family. My daughter was having difficulties with reading and math, they got her the extra help she needed and she has made so much progress. The new principal Ms. Pilat is amazing. So soft spoken and very understanding. My daughter had been attending GSA for 3yrs going onto 4 and I do not regret my decision. This school has zero tolerance for bullying.

Our son loves Good Shepherd. The school must be doing right because it shows on how our son conducts himself outside of school, especially at home. We are happy that what we strive hard to improve on our son's learning ability and character development has been amplified by the school in many ways.

We have 4 children there now and our oldest graduated a few years ago. There is truly a family atmosphere at GSA. The education is great and the principal there now is dedicated to the school and the children!

We have 2 littles ones currently in GSA. At first, we were nervous about having them physically in-school during this COVID situation, but the precautions taken and followed on a daily basis worked. The school safely stayed open and our kids couldn't be happier. The teachers are devoted, caring, and they get our kids excited to learn new things . We feel comfortable communicating with their teachers and we are always well informed of what's going on in school. The new principal is truly dedicated to this school and it shows. You always see her happily interacting with the students, parents, and teachers. We've made some great friends with other families here. Our children will continue to attend this school and we highly recommend it!

We enrolled our daughter for kindergarten this year. Our public schools were all virtual. Good Shepherd was open full time. We were not planning on staying for first grade. Since we live right next door to our public school in town. However, the education and the attention my daughter has received here has been far beyond our expectations! We are extremely happy with GSA and have met so many wonderful families! We love the diversity our child is experiencing ! We LOVE her teacher! The Staff and the clergy are amazing! We will be staying at GSA in the fall!

2020-21 is my daughter's second year at GSA, and we continue to enjoy being part of the school and the community. GSA is equally focused on providing a rigorous and modernized academic experience and helping the student develop strong morals and ethics. We appreciate this dual emphasis on being both a good student and being a good human being. No school is perfect, and that goes for GSA also. My daughter has, at times, felt overwhelmed by the homework, and I have occasionally felt that her teacher and/or the administration could have handled some issue or another differently. But on the whole, the staff and faculty are committed to the students and take their responsibilities seriously. I have been particularly impressed by the school's response to Covid, which has been to offer both in-person and virtual options and to ensure, as best as they can, that both options are safe and fulfilling for the students.

Both of my sons attend and I am an alum as well. Love this school community - solid spiritual foundation coupled with rigorous academics, dedicated teachers and families that care!

This is the first year my two boys are enrolled in Good Shepherd. We love the school. The teachers and staff are amazing. The nurse is unbelievably compassionate and cares for the children as if they are her own. Everyone goes over and beyond to make sure the children understand the work and are happy. I highly recommend this school.

Since the local towns were not opening up the school year due to covid concerns, we decided to enroll our 6th grade son for the year (2020/2021). We are pleased with the education and how welcoming the principal and staff have been. They have done a wonderful job with the covid procedures and have kept the students safe and in school. If you are disappointed with your town education, definitely think of enrolling in Good Shepherd Community. We are very thankful we did.

My friends were the best part about this school. I'm still close to them. I'm glad high school was a better experience for me. I also wrote a review on Google, because parents should have the right to know the truth about Good Shepherd Academy. It was a bad experience for me, and hopefully after doing research, parents will see through the lies of GSA staff and make a better decision for their children.

My daughter has been attending GSA since kindergarten and she loves it. And the new principal really wants everyone to achieve their best ability. She takes time to talk and listen to parents and their concerns.

We are about to finish our first year as a GSA family and it's been a wonderful year! My children are in first and fourth grade and have absolutely thrived in the GSA environment. The academic program is excellent, there are so many amazing extracurricular activities to choose from and we've already made so many friends! They are learning about faith as well and have just grown so much in one year. The GSA family welcomed us with open arms. Best decision ever!

Well! Its been a few yrs at GSA, and I Don't regret enrolling my child at GSA-Nutley. She is very Happy and watching her grow, and take on responsibilities along with joining many different clubs, the school offers, such as Junior Stewardship Club, Theatre Arts Club, Sports Club (which is a blessings for a middle school to have), Science Explore Club, Religion Club and Music Club, Tutoring Club is the BEST, I could ask for. Academically, my child is very well rounded and enjoys her teachers, even though she may have a "rough", day overall she is extremely appreciative and for the friends she has made from all grade levels. The Administration office ladies, are hands-down the BEST, to address any concerns with. They are truly, the heart of GSA's operation, begins with a Smile. GSA-has become our second home. Good caring families dedicated to making sure the KIDS, are Happy!

Love GSA. I have two kids there. The school is like a family. Great sports programs, great development programs, teachers are wonderful. My daughter has been going there since 1st grade, she is now in 5th, and my son has been going there since kindergarten, he is now in 2nd grade. They both have learned so much. Their teachers really take the time to go over their difficulties. Besides the great academic, being a Catholic school, they learn about faith,God, and discipline. GSA definitely provides a great environment for the kids to grow academically but also as human beings.

Attending GSA is one of my most memorable experiences. I've made lifelong friends there and I will treasure the many great memories made. The values I've learned helped me become the person I am today. I highly recommend Good Shepherd Academy!
