poor school , teachers dont let the kids out in time. And in the morning kids have to wait outside in the cold to get in.

Our son has been going to this school from Kindergarten through 4th grade and so far he loves it. He enjoys his teachers and really enjoys school sports here. The staff is very friendly and teachers care about their students. 5 stars.

We have two kids attending Kennedy Elementary. They love their teachers. Teachers are wonderful and encouraging. They go above and beyond. I have never felt that my kids are not learning enough or getting attention. I love that the school has sports in addition to academics. Principal Hughes is wonderful, knows all the students and their families. Parents involvement is great. PTA works hard and organizes a lot of activities. PTA runs a wonderful art program, fully paid for by the parents. We love Kennedy Elementary!

We love it!!!!! We cane from the Fremont district where our daughter always felt second -best. Here, she's won medals for Young Authors and it's inspired confidence in her to achieve. She's also taken an active leadership role and her confidence has gone up because this school let's her shine. The principal and staff are easy to deal with and the principal is so approachable.

This is an awful school, the Principal Pamela Hughes is a Bad Person. She cares more about the Teacher's, than the Children.

Based on my 7 years experience I would rate this school 5 , principal/ teachers , office staff , and the rest of the crow in there are focused on individual education and that's what every parents would want, I would call that second educational home for my kids, they love it , Kennedy is lucky for such a leadership.I wish they had more budget to cover all school needs.

The pricipal spends her time wandering around or watering plants instead of doing her job. She is incompetent and should be replaced. This used to be a good school, when my children went there, but not any more. They do not teach phonics in kindergarten, but expect a child to be able to read when they start first grade. They will not follow a 504 plan for a child with a learning disorder, or give them extra help. Be prepared to hire a tutor if you want your child learn and have some self esteem.

Kennedy is a wonderful school and we've been so happy there. There are always improvements that can be made and as others have said, stronger leadership from the principal is needed. That being said, considering the terrible state that our schools are in and the lack of funding that seems to get worse with each new year, this school does a LOT with very little. Our children's needs are being met in the classroom, there is fantastic parent involvement and there are so many extra activities for the kids and families to attend. We were worried when we first entered the public school system, but have been more that satisfied and happy with our experience with Kennedy.
