My child would raise his hand to ask for help in class but the help would rarely come. The teacher as other staff always said there are so many students but if there is an issue with getting students help in the class then more in class help should be hired. Not the school I expected. My child got hurt either from falling or playing on the playground and other parts of campus several times but no one ever reported this to me. The office staff is very demeaning and disrespectful to parents, which is one of the several reasons why I took my child out of the school as I do not want to send my child to a school that does not value basic respect of fellow human beings. There are much better schools out there that are that offer much more along with teaching children to be empathic and respectful while obtaining a high value education. I would not recommend this school.

My child got much better grades after he switched from other schools in the district.

The parents of the students are very involved in many activities. The teachers are more and less same compare to the other schools. Overall, it's all parents responsible to make sure their kids are doing necessary homework and extra things. At least here most of parents care about their kids academic, behavior and willing to invest for their kids future.

This review is for the office staff who are discourteous and don't care how they speak to people. They have a bad attitude and for some reason don't have the common human decency to address people with decorum. The school itself is good and has a lot of resources,a very active PTA and teachers are great. Very sad that the front face of a school leaves such a bad taste and lot to be desired. A high API doesn't mean you forget common manners.

Most of the student in Forest park have to do coaching outside or need intense parent involvement to keep up to the mark. The School API is good because students here actually get two kind of education: public and home schooling. Day and night. They encourage the parents to give extra home-work at home. If you are a working parent stay away from this school.
