Deer Creek is a dream come true for me and my family. I am one of those Moms that has a hard time letting go, I love my children with everything I have and I am SO comfortable with trusting this school and ALL the personnel I've encountered so far with my boys. I expressed minor concern that my son was having a difficult time and I immediately received offers of 3 additional meets for him if we were interested. I absolutely adore our kindergarten teacher and the Principal. I am absolutely shocked that there would ever be a negative review regarding this precious school in any way. I think like with everything in life if you want to be connected get involved! They welcome parent input and parent involvement tremendously. You will fall in love with this school.

Our experience has been overall AWFUL with this school. I won’t go into details because I fear my child would be targeted by the principal who clearly doesn’t have the best interests of the children in mind. My child has had one great teacher at DC but the rest have been really meh. The communication from the school is overall abysmal. There is a clear lack of care for continuity of experience or the wellbeing and emotional health of the kids. Don’t send your kids here if you can help it. It’s been a nightmare for us.

They seem to protect the kids that bully rather then the kids that get bullied

Deer Creek Elementary School is fortunate to have a host of amazing teachers, a great principal, a wonderful support staff and an array of excellent enrichment courses/activities. Communication between teachers/school and parents is exceptional, parent and community support/involvement is plentiful, and the overall character and quality of this school is awesome.I've had nothing buy positive experiences at Deer Creek Elementary, and I feel fortunate you have such a great place for my kids to continue learning about and exploring our world.

Really wonderful staff. The communication was a bit rough as a new parent with no previous ties to the school so figuring out when back to school night was happening and when special events were happening in my child's classroom was frustrating at the beginning of the school year. The back to school night is kid-free but there's no child-care provided on or off site by the school for this event. Our learning curve as parents was a bit steep, but our child is thriving at Deer Creek. The principal returns communications quickly and when concerns were voiced recently about the safety of the kids during morning drop off, they were addressed the next day with increased security and even a local police officer present. We had a rough start but we're very happy with this school, the parent involvement is awesome as well.
