My son attended ERCS from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Besides high academic standards, personal development and spiritual growth were and are strongly encouraged and supported. He was well prepared for high school and had much more individual attention throughout his years there than he would have had at a bigger school. Parents are also encouraged to volunteer, which gives you an inside view of the interactions between students and teachers. Investing in quality education is well worth it!

The one thing I have noticed that I do not notice in other schools is that the older kids are very respectable and helpful to the younger students. This is rare when you are dealing with K - 8th. I see all ages offering their help for the younger children and show respect for each other. I notice when I bring my daughter, many of the older kids say hi and smile at her. This shows how not only their education exceeds the norm, but how they work with the students to respect each other.

Echo Ridge Christian School is an amazing place with wonderful teachers! Enrollment is kept low to ensure that each child can have the personalized attention that they deserve. Multi-grade classrooms allow students to have a wider educational experience, and help in developing an individualized educational plan for each student. If you are looking for a great school, please give us a call and set up an appointment for a tour, classroom observation, and meeting with our principal.

My kindergartener has thrived this year because of the dedicated team of teachers, staff, and parents. The beautiful campus is tucked away in one of the area's best neighborhoods, and the teachers are dedicated to providing a top notch education, in a caring, creative, Christian environment. The school is supported by the Seventh Day Adventist church, however, they are welcoming of all students regardless of their particular religious beliefs. We are not part of the SDA church, but have been pleased with the inclusive Christian beliefs that are taught at the school. My husband and I both have advanced degrees, so we have been careful to evaluate the academic standards, and we find them to be high and the students are preforming at advanced levels. For a school of its size, it offers some great programs such as onsite piano lessons, a well stocked, current library, frequent field trips, music/choir, a healthy, homemade hot lunch program, a school garden which the kids help plant and then eat from, and many other special touches provided by the hard working staff and parents. We love the school and look forward helping shape Echo Ridge Christian School's future!

All 4 of my children have attended Echo Ridge Christian School, and LOVE it! It is a small school, where no one gets lost, overlooked, bullied, or left behind. 3 differents; Kindergarten-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, and 6th-8th grade. Multi-grade learning has been an effective way of teaching for generations, where the students can learn from, and teach each other, as well as getting individualized attention from teachers. The 3 teachers are outstanding, caring professionals, who go the extra mile for each student. Each child is safe, engaged, supported, and challenged, with an educational plan tailored just for them. Small school teachers have the ability to tailor the education to fit the child, rather than the child fitting into the program that is available to them. Parents are a vital part of the school, and encouraged to participate. Students get a well rounded education, with cooking classes, gardening, and community service, mixed together with high academic standards. Standardized test scores are high, showing that Echo Ridge students are getting a great education!
