The tone of the school is set by the Prinicipal. The previous prinicipal Ms. Caswell was great and hence the school was decent, but the new principal Mr. Hundson is completely incompetent. Add to it equally incompetent teachers and you get a school that is pretty much useless in every way. The only reason kids here get good grades is because majority of kids are of Indian origin, whose parents make sure this inept school doesnt mess up their child's education.

My child is in Pre-K (2021-2022) and it has been an amazing change in structure for my hyperactive child after staying home during the pandemic. We receive weekly newsletter on what the child will be learning during that week along with other notifications. My child is very happy and comes home to tell me all the fun things they have done at school.Teachers are very helpful and communicate with us all the time regarding the different policy changes about the pandemic. The Pre-K also has a wake county approved breakfast and lunch available for them. My only wish was that this was a traditional calendar school rather than year round as my child took little bit of time for readjustment after a lengthy Christmas break. But I expect as the child advances in grades and age this would be more of a welcome break for both of us.
