Horrible school. The worst in the area. The lack of education quality and emotional support provided is unimaginable.

TERRIBLE. I’ve been to this school for a long time and I’ve been bullied every grade by students and teachers, what has the school done? NOTHING. If you want to be treated differently by your classmates and teachers because of your skills and abilities go right ahead! This would be the perfect school for you!

Beware if you have a child who has learning challenges, needs an IEP, or has ADD. This school does its best, but unfortunately, fails to meet those children's needs. Preventative or corrective measures that are supposed to be in place to assist your child academically are not adhered to consistently, if not at all--even when you repeatedly ask the teachers to follow up with you regarding your child's progress.Additionally, Hortons Creek is a no homework school. If you are dedicated parent who likes review your child's schoolwork with them to ensure they comprehend the work so they can stay ahead, then unfortunately, you will not get to experience that here.Bottom line, if you have other educational choices for your child, then do yourself a favor and exercise your options.

All three of our children attend/attended Hortons Creek Elementary. Our two daughters are now in middle school and our son is currently in 2nd grade. The teachers and administrators are phenomenal! They have created a wonderfully inclusive community for students of many varied backgrounds. We are very pleased at the level of personal attention our children receive even though the school is quite large. Our daughters are thriving in middle school today and felt well prepared after graduating from Hortons Creek!
