This school is horrible. I go here currently and I hate coming here. The students are horrible, the teachers are bad at teaching, and it's like you're getting no good or no education at all. Don't go here.

This school is so horrible do not sent your Children. My child was so happy before this school then i sent her and she went in happy and came out being upset everyday she was being Bulled everyday for her looks and much more.in this school if you don't look impossible you will be at the bottom, the girls and boys act like there over 21 and its not cool.they laugh and cuss at the sped kids because their not like them.the kids smoke in the bathrooms and vandalize the stalls.they don't clean at all and theirs bugs in the water system of this nasty school. They don't clean the mpr they don't clean the gym theirs ants all over the place they don't have good temperature's and they have kids sitting in very hot or cold classrooms and they don't care about how you feel or what you think.my child was getting bullied in her homeroom and she went to the Guidance Counselor and was treated poorly and was sent right back to the classroom because they don't care for the kids at all.some teachers do not alot.my Daughter almost failed because a teacher was not doing her job right and had to have other teachers do it for her.that lady was fired but then they bought her back smh.these student communicate with their teachers but the teacher do nothing with the information that the student gives them.the teachers have favorites that they don't wanna get in trouble, the teachers just lets the students curse Infront of them, let them use their phones,Cheat on work. The bathrooms...oh don't even get me started their so dirty 95%of the time and when their not these dirty students of have no home training dirtys it back up.These students fight in the bathroom and don't get caught.Theirs so much fights because there Children are animals and don't know how to control themself.these little girls who are 12-13-14 acts like the 18-19-20 with theirs actions and none of them are lady like and they stink period mwauh.

Don't try to call and talk to anyone regarding an issue with the teacher - the admin staff truly believe the students are evil and the teachers are always right. They like to conduct unauthorized searches and then get mad when students tell them they will not speak to admin without a parent present. They will call the wrong number and leave a voicemail with your students information on that voicemail, then argue for WEEKS saying they left a voicemail. The whole school is backwards and they believe in the cookie cutter education. If you don't fit into the cookie cutter, your child is the problem.

Meh. And i'm being kind. Kids are just numbers and not people

As long as kids do not get involved into the wrong group, they should be fine.

My special needs child was constantly bullied and my other child was picked on horribly. We were new and that made it worse. If your not from here, your an outsider. The kids in the school lack respect for authority and are very disruly. I do think anyone should purposely put their kids in this school. The parents of some of the kids show why the kids act like they do. The parents cuss out the bus drivers and the teachers. I have never seen such utter disrespect and disarray in a school setting. They should keep multiple cops at the school, not just one. So very sad do those who have to go here. The test scores are so low and I see why now. Very upsetting.

My son had a great experience at BMS while he was a student here from 2009-2012! Everything he learned he was able to use to transition nicely in to the high school! I continue to assist BMS in their endeavors to improve and help all of the children in Moncks Corner!

We relocated from GA in 2012 and when I realized my daughter would be districted for BMS, I was not happy. I had heard bad reviews via online mediums as well as directly from a former BMS parent. I was distraught because at the time school choice was not an option, but I must say that Principal Mike Wilkerson went out of his way to address my concerns and put my mind t ease. Incidentally, my daughter attended BMS for the 2012/2013 and 203/2014 school years and we didn't have any problems and over the course of her time there. Mr. Wilkerson has worked diligently to bring the scores/reviews up during his tenure at BMS. I, for one, am the satisfied parent of my BMS graduate and look forward to our experience at BHS.

I have had a child at BMS for 2 years now. Starting the 3rd year. I was very apprehensive when she moved up because I had heard all the horror stories. Much to my surprise, none of them have been true. teachers are very caring and responsive to my questions and the administration that is on staff now is top notch and will address any concerns that are brought to their attention. We must all remember that middle school age is the worst, think back to when you were in there. Communication is the key. If you are a hands on parent, you will always be better off then trying to let the system raise your child. I love how things have been going in the past 2 years and look forward to my child's final year here and am excited for my youngest to move up!

I have had a wonderful experience as a parent at BMS! What a wonderful school full of dedicated teachers and administration! Comments below stating that is the worst is the OPPOSITE of the quality I have witnessed first hand! I believe that those who complain are the ones that are not involved in their child's education or have children that do not choose to follow the standards expected by the school! You get what you give!!!

Berkeley Middle School is a terrific school that provides an excellent learning environment for the students due the the fantastic Administration team and teaching staff. I would recommend this school to all my friends, family and new members to the Moncks Corner community. During the past few years BMS has shaped and molded great members of society that have became very successful in the real world. I can not speak well enough about my experience and interaction with Berkeley Middle School.

The worst of the worst. I feel sorry for all of us who live in Moncks Corner and bring our children to such a horrible "learning" environment. The faculty offer less than the minumum in education, but ensure that you sign off to charge Medicaid for their "services" whenever they can. How lame! BMH is a pathetic embarrassment to the institution of education.

This school is an embarrassment to the American people. How can we allow schools like this to continue to function. They shun parental involvement. I walked into the counselors office and they were listening to rap music !!! I was told that instead of dealing with my son being upset (he was beat up an bullied) that I should just go to the doctor and get him medicated. What the ...I was beside myself.....I am appauled that we have such catastrophic failures in our ability to hire dedicated professionals instead of such riff raff. I could go on and on but do not send your kids here.....
