We’ve had several poor experiences at this school. Our child needs some special accommodations and more than one teacher he has had doesn’t seem to be able to follow them. Again this year for the third time we are dealing with a teacher that is not the best at their job. Administrators are unhelpful. It’s been very disappointing and frustrating to deal with.

I think Foxbank is such a great school I was there for 1st-5th grade and it was so fun. there were amazing people there and they host mini events like every month including spirit week. just bc it's elementary doesn't mean it's automatically fun this school's just special like that def send ur kids here its so fun(im sorry if that sounded sarcastic its actually a great school)

I think Foxbank Elementary School is a fantastic school! It was built in 2018, so it is newer and very modern. Instead of old school chalkboards or white boards they have huge touch screen Smart Boards in the classrooms. The classrooms are also designed in a super modern way that engages the children. No more old school desk with chair combo. Instead, some of the chairs feature bouncy balls. It is really unique and impressive, in my opinion. Safety wise, the school was built with safety in mind. You can't just walk in. You have to ring a doorbell that has a camera and get buzzed in. Most of the time an administrator will come outside to assist you, like if you need to drop off a change of clothes for your child, or whatnot. It is also great that there is a Firehouse right in front of the school. I've always felt like my child was safe going there, while also feeling welcomed, and not like a prison. The staff and teachers have always been kind to me and my child. We have never had any issues with communicating with the teachers. They have always been very responsive. I also really like the way they engage with the children emotionally. Instead of saying things like, "you're being bad" they teach "was that a strong choice or a weak choice?" Each year when my son starts school, the first week of school they spend discussing how to treat each other in the classrooms. It has really been a great experience so far. My son enters 3rd grade this year, in August 2022. Even during the difficult time of virtual learning that happed back with Covid, each student was sent home with a Chromebook, and the teachers did such an amazing job. I highly recommend Foxbank Elementary School. Amazing teachers my son has had so far are Ms. Douglas, Ms. Stroud, and Ms. Cox. I hope this review helps other parents out there!

My kids absolutely love their Foxbank Elementary teachers and peers. As a fairly new school, it filled up quickly, requiring portable buildings be added just one year after opening, but that's not a fault of the district. That's a fault of the developers that just keep building more neighborhoods everywhere. My children have had some of the most fantastic teachers while attending.
