loved this school for my 2 children i thought it was going to be drama because the reviews wernt as high but turns out the school is actually amazing they go on cool trips and have fun the teachers are nice sweet and take there time while trying to teach them

This school is horrible. Worst school I’ve in. There was 4 guns found on students, yes 4 guns. And they didn’t even search all of the rooms including mine so any other students could be carrying a gun around, they haven’t done anything about it but add scanners if we get stopped by the metal detector, mines beep because of my binder but they still don’t stop me which shows any other person with a weapon can just walk off freely, they tell the news miss information instead of what actually happen. The counselors help PORLY, I need my classes switched because they changed it for my next year and the counselor is telling me that I can’t change it and he won’t either. There was a fight in the bathroom with 5 boys, 4 jumped 1and the boy got put in the hospital because they busted his eye, nobody even shows the video because of how horrible the scene was. The teachers think just because our doors are locked we are safe when we are not. There has also been a time when someone was walking around campus with a gun and it took an hour and some minutes for them to get us to safety. HORRIBLE school, would NOT recommend. My mother will be transferring me to a much better and safer school

This school is Terrible ALL around. They are very Unorganized and unprofessional. They need to Immediately Fire a lot of the staff members. They are doing more harm than helping the kids. Someone need to check in to this school more thoroughly and make the proper adjustments for the kids to be able to learn in a proper environment!I would NOT recommend this school for ANY child.

The staff doesn't care about its students and is entirely unreliable and unprepared don't care if they mess up the student's schedules. The school's administration is never prepared. They are understaffed and never teach, blaming us for failing the big test. Please don't send your kids here if you care. Because the school most definitely doesn't.

I go to this school the teachers barley help you they don’t pay attention to you it’s one of the worse schools I been to.the teachers treat you badly they make fun of you they let kids vape anywhere they need to work on who they hire Im not even ready for any test because they barley teach you anything it’s sad my sister just passed they didn’t care I’m also a special Ed kid that’s my only teacher that cares about me the rest don’t and they don’t know how to do their job as a teacher

The school really needs a lot of work like some of the teachers don't seem to care about actually doing work and depending on the teacher they do nothing for weeks on end.

This school is so backwards that when they tell you, can go to an event a teacher says go in your next class they will release you they lie and don't release you.-100/10

I have started my first year and it's okay. There are gonna need to be some major changes. By the second week there has been 20 people suspended. But the only way to get through this school is to focus on you and you only do u worry about other people the teachers are very helpful. The school has potential but hadn't figured out how to get there yet

My daughter's freshman year at RRHS wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible....however, her sophomore year was really bad. Bullying, weekly...sometimes even daily fights in the school, chaos in many of her classes. She felt she wasn't learning anything and it caused her a lot of anxiety...so much to the point she had to go on meds for it. There are teachers there who are extremely nice....but nice doesn't cut it in that particular environment. They need teachers and administrative staff who can rule the school with authority and not allow the students to walk all over them. It's a fairly new school...and it has the potential to be a good school in the future; but there are a lot of changes that need to take place for that to happen. We ultimately chose to remove my daughter from this school and transfer her to a charter school where academics are top priority and the environment is less stressful.

The students are terrible, they're the rudest people I have met. The teachers don't control them and they run around like animals. The teachers are good but the people in the office are not helpful at all. The counselors aren't helpful either and not very nice.

I'm currently in my 2nd year at RRHS and I absolutely loved my 1st year! Rocky river is a great school with awesome teachers that are willing to help you reach your goals and to succeed in school. Like every high school there are issues. But as long as you surround yourself with the right people, you'll be fine. RRHS also had many clubs and many teachers that stay after school to tutor/give extra help to students. Rocky river is young but I can already tell that it's a great school in the making and I'm honored to be a part of the growth of this school. Go ravens :)

I am a junior now and I agree with the comment about how theres not really any friendly people. Every person I talk to they dont seem to like me and I have yet to get a true friend. The teachers are okay too and if you do go to this dungeon of a school, just focus on your work. :)

I go there and Rocky River is a really good school. As long as you hang out with the right people Rocky River will be great to you. Don't listen to the other comment, making friends at RRHS is not hard at all! Just find a group of people who have the same interests as you and you will be fine. A few words to the wise though... 1. Don't pretend to be something you're not and 2. If you like shoes this is the right school and if you don't... I suggest you start learning the names of a couple retro jordans so you won't look like a total idiot when people talk about them. Hope this helps!

I go there now and its called "Rocky River High School". It has some okay teachers but the students are absolutely terrible. It's hard to make friends and the students there are not friendly. I would not recommend anyone to go to this school.

My son started as a freshman this past fall, and has been very happy with the school and the athletics. Since it is a newer school, the campus and facilities are beautiful, but it seems that the surrounding community has not yet embraced "the Rock".
