This is not Eastside stream academy. This is not American Leadership Academy-Charlotte formerly Aristotle Prep. Give them a chance

I have enjoyed working with the kids in this school. I enjoy working with the people in this school.

Leadership and staff have worked very hard to ensure my child has had an exceptionally positive experience. We are so happy we were able to get her into this school.

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this school, let alone return my students to the school for the 2018-2019 school year. There is no playground, facility is nasty and across from a plasma center. Carpets are stained and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. One of my children had their graduation in a classroom?!

My daughter has been going there since they opened. Things were rocky in the beginning but they have definitely improved on many areas and I'm a happy and involved parent.

The founder has exemplary experience and professionalism. Newer charter schools are often times bad mouthed by rejected teachers and parents with unrealistic expectations of a new school. The staff is welcoming and friendly and the students are being challenged in their classrooms. I personally worked there as a tutor and had a clear view of how the school is ran and operated. The negative reviews are just people that couldn't get their way in a school that is cracking down on policies, performance and academics. They are honestly growing each year and I'll be enrolling my daughter when she turns 5 next year. Thanks CCC!

My daughter attended this school from grades K-2. I tried to give them the a chance being that it was an new school., but she kept having different teachers throughout the school year with no notice from the school. The dress code was not enforce on all students, the classrooms didn't have any books for the scholars. Then when thy moved locations, it wasn't complete upon returning to school from summer vacation for the new school yr, the building wasn't complete and up to code. Inspections was still going on, and my child was learning in a room that I was not able to be shown.

The school is not as it appears. The head of school and HR is not in the business of supporting staff and the students. They are very much so in the interest of making and maintaining money at any level to benefit them. They are in a deficit as we speak and are cutting resources and staff without a thought and hesitation to maintain monies in their pockets. They are not a school of excellence and integrity. A lot of undercover and dishonest things has occurred this school year not mention how teachers and students were displaced and were scattered out in different places. Some of these places were infested with mold and leaks. It was several days my child had no breakfast in the mornings. My child has had so many teachers and no consistency and lost substantial amount of learning/instruction. Please pay close attention as I will be pulling child very soon.

I am an experienced teacher who taught here. I can honestly see why they received a 1 on their rating. Most of the teachers here are new and are not certified. The rules from the administration are based on personal relationships rather than professionalism. None of the teachers are provided reading books for the classrooms - and there's no library. I brought crates of my own personal books in for my classroom. However, when I left, the director tried to keep them! ha! I am certified to teach in 2 states and I have never seen an environment as bad as this. The teacher turnover rate is very high. Behavior problems are so bad, the teachers are so new and inexperienced, they handle these issues terribly. There are many laws broken at this school. Teachers are leaving all the time; some students have had 3 and 4 different teachers in one year! If you want your children to learn, please send them somewhere else. These people have NO IDEA how to run a school. It is really sad; these children deserve more than this.
