I am deeply concerned and frustrated with the practices at Bain Elementary. It has come to my attention that the school is unfairly labeling students, claiming they have mental health issues like ADHD based on questionable testing. This approach is not only misguided but also detrimental to the well-being of our children. The administration seems to be pushing kids into categories they do not belong in, creating a false narrative that they are struggling with serious problems when, in fact, they do not. This practice not only stigmatizes students but also undermines their confidence and affects their overall learning experience.I urge parents to be vigilant and question the school's methods. It is unacceptable for an educational institution to impose such labels on children without clear evidence. We need to put the focus back on supporting our kids, not mischaracterizing them. I sincerely hope that Bain Elementary reevaluates its approach and prioritizes the mental health and well-being of all students rather than forcing them into a narrative that doesn’t fit.

First year parents here (Pre-K) and we have been blown away with our child's learning and progress in the school. The building is light and happy and his classroom is huge with many stations for them to move about and learn throughout the day. The teachers and staff has been nothing short of kind and amazing. If you have the opportunity to get your kid into the Pre-K program or enroll here jump at that opportunity! We hope this trend continues but based on others experiences we feel it will. Car line drop off in morning for us is under 5 mins if that. Pickup can be a bit longer because they don't open the second lane due to bussing but they do have a traffic officer so usually through in 15-20 mins. Staff always seems to be smiling and in a good mood. We really like the principal as well.

This school is absolutely fantastic! My granddaughter attends and loves it! The teachers are very professional and provides great education. Would highly recommend this school to anyone! I only wish they provided Spanish as a second language. You would have to transfer your child to another school and provide transportation for a dual language experience, which shouldn't exist in an area so diverse. Overall, definitely a 5-star school!

This WAS an amazing school with the previous principal, however since the school has aquired the new principal Pedrotty nothing has been good coming from her. Parents are no longer provided with weekly updates from her nor does she address problems that happen in the school with children threatening other children. Fowl language is heard from children and that is not addressed either. Communication from the principal to one parent is different to another parent. Unfortunately until she can learn to stand up to problems and communicate truthfully to parents this school will continue to go downhill

My son has attended Bain for the past 4 years. It has been a wonderful experience! Caring teachers and staff and an awesome PTA. He has loved every teacher he has had so far and we have as well. Open communication, creative lessons and ways of learning.

Our son started at Bain (Kindergarten) in Fall 2014. He was previously diagnosed with sensory processing disorder. The "Team" at Bain has been exceptional in making sure our son gets the help and assistance he needs to be successful in school. Everyone from the Principal, EC teachers and his main teacher & assistants are all welcoming and very committed to helping him adjust and making him a success. My husband and I are very committed parents who have enjoyed working with the Team at Bain to help our son be successful. So far so good this school year!

This school is great! I couldn't ask for better. My child started in kindergarten and is now in second. The principal always keeps you updated as well as great communication with the teachers. We love it here and it made my first child's school experience a great one. Thank you Bain!

If you have a child with learning disabilities or below average learning the school is very difficult to offer assistance or help. The resource team just wants to do the least possible work. I would suggest you stay on top of your child's progress.

Bain has been a great experience for us so far. Great leadership, committed teachers and wonderful parents who truly want the best for all the kids, not just their own. Discipline is handled swiftly and fairly and the academic standards are high. My kids' teachers have taught them well and nurtured their individuality while expecting the best from them.

I have 2 sons at Bain. The teachers are wonderful! My children have progressed rapidly. The teachers have high expectations of all students and can differentiate instruction when students need extra help. There is a lot of parent volunteerism and fund raising efforts.
