I love the teachers and staff at MES. It is definitely a team approach.

We are moving to get out of this district. Schools are all overcrowded from the CO population spike. No help for kids. They will punish your child with running, push ups or sit ups-even though it is them not following a 504 plan to help keep my son calm. They tell me to keep him home and they excuse it with a “504 day”

My child previously attended Pioneer Ridge in Johnstown and then moved to MES. The expectations are much lower at MES. The teachers I have dealt with have no interest in pushing an intelligent child a little further to keep them engaged. I have not been impressed AT ALL. If I had the opportunity to move her back to PRE I would do it in a heart beat.

We are great with our technology currency. I have always liked the teacher quality at the school. I've had 3 kids go through MES and any issues that came up were solved. We have been in the district for 15 years & our community has/is lacking in parent/adult involvement. Many people work out of town and also spend their time out of town. We need to focus on what our community has to offer, volunteer here, attend events here and support our small businesses!

This school is ok. I like the environment. Ms Margarita is really nice. Principal and teachers are awesome. I like the fact that is located in an old fashion town.

My son Joe Loves M.E.S. I plan on moving soon and my son hates the idea of going to a new school. My son has been doing great in M.E.S. and I hate to take him out but I probably will if I move to Loveland or Firestone?

MES is a great school Ms Forrest is a great Kindergarten teacher! The kids in the MES are well behaved and friendly. Mr D knows the kids by name and really makes each of them feel important. Everyone I've met including lunch ladies are great! I like that Ms Forrest pushes my daughter to do her best and that she doesn't let her just do the basics for "k" when she is capable of doing 1st grade work

This school is horrible, they do nothing about bullying and even go as far as to blame the victim for the bullying all the while protecting the bully. The curriculum is below standard and teachers do not care about student advancement.

This school has been so great! My child loves this school. We have had a wonderful experience with teachers that help and want to listen. They have done such a wonderful job at this school with technology. This school has wonderful, caring teachers that understand children and know how to respond to them. I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!! and more important my child loves this school. The principal is very personable and the children love him. He definetely knows how to talk to children. The staff are very professional and friendly. They are very understanding with the children. What a great school!

My son attended Kindergarten at MES last year and absolutely loved it. Mr. D is amazing, I have never seen a principal as involved as he is. The teachers are wonderful, caring and very supportive of students. Last year I had the choice of sending my son to KQA or MES and i am so glad I chose the latter.
