This school is terrible. I very much regret buying a school in this district. My daughter was performing above grade level before coming here and now isn’t learning. The school also has been horrible about communicating with us. Emails to the teacher and principal go unanswered.

This school is definitely the best in its district. The students are always kind and the teachers are amazing

I wish I would have pulled my kids out sooner.

The power of the principal can be good and bad depending on the LEADER. There are a lot of great principals out there, and some bad ones!

It all depends on the teacher...good luck. I don't like how the certain teachers can make students feel bad about themselves.

We are new to Pioneer Ridge this year but I am so impressed and happy with my son's first grade teacher. We came from a district that was supposed to be amazing, but Pioneer Ridge has surpassed my expectations in every way. I volunteer in my son's class and I'm amazed with how his teacher really tries to meet the needs of every learner. That's not easy. My son was performing above grade level in reading before we came to this school and she has challenged him. She also cares about his non-academic success and has alerted me every time there was an issue and responds quickly to emails. She's a young mom and seriously deserves a medal. I hope our experience continues to be this wonderful.

As a parent in this school, I have to say I am impressed with the dedication of the staff! Parents often blame other children for their own children's behaviors. At some point, parents need to take some accountability.

We attended the end-of-year picnic and concert tonight - what a great event! We were reminded yet again of how lucky we are to be in such a warm and welcoming school community. The staff is great and supportive; we've been so pleased.

This school has been nothing but trouble for my oldest son and now my youngest son is having issues arise. My oldest son has ADHD and Aspergers and they don't seem to TRY to learn how to deal with these type of kiddos. My youngest son is going to be checked for ADHD because of the issues arising. My daughter does not have a learning issue, but she is bullied in a way because of her brothers' issues. Kids here are brutal and the teachers seem to turn an eye away from the kids causing issues and those kids are the ones tattling on the kids with issues because those kids don't know how to defend themselves. I am very upset with the bullying going on with all three of my kids. I have mentioned it to the principal and the teachers and they basically ignore me and mention that they don't have the funds to do a shcool wide bullying program a few times a year or to have incentives for the kids to NOT bully. The school just had spent $2000 from PTO for an anti-bullying program that lasted all day for 4th and 5th graders, I was optimistic that kids would start treating my oldest better after the program, but nothing has changed, VERY DISAPPOINTING! Some bad teachers, but some are good.

This school is terrible!!! They have no control over students, and do nothing to kids who bully others. My niece and nephew both attend this school, and have had nothing but problems. My nephew has been bullied to where he is on the ground and other students are spitting on him, and nothing was done about it! Most recently my seven year old niece was held down on the ground while another boy showed his private part to her, then went on to tell all the bad things he was going to do to her. Seriously, WHERE ARE ALL THE TEACHERS AND STAFF WHEN THIS IS GOING ON!!!!!!

Our principal is the most seen principal i have ever seen. The kids genuinly respect him in a very posative way. the teachers have been a joy in both my children and my own life. i could not ask for more in a school.
