I visited this school to attend a boys basketball game, this school and it's spirit was rocking it was exciting to see!! HOWEVER THERE WAS A GROUP OF PARENTS (woman/midlife crisis) WHO WERE SAYING THE MOST HATEFUL RUDE POOR SPORTSMANLIKE things, very sad to witness parents acting in such a way HORRIBLE

Worst special education staff I've ever worked with. To the point of revoking consent and pulling my autistic son out. The administrators do not care about truancy so if the kiddo doesn't want to attend and fail all classes but still would like to graduate Roosevelt would be great, if you actually want your children to obtain an education I definitely do not recommend Roosevelt. My older son literally passed classes turning in blank documents. As far as content, primarily extreme liberal and very opinionated, the teachers should be required to actually teach facts and not their opinion. School itself is very nice but it's a year old. The old one was nasty so it's just a matter of time Especially with an administrator who doesn't care. In a nut shell, if you care about your children's education doesn't enroll them here.

This school is simply amazing. And appears to have come a long way in just a few years. Our student was nervous about a new school (literally and figuratively), but this school had been outstanding. The community has welcomed her with open arms, and she is being challenged academically. I've never seen a high school with so many options for gaining college credit, work experience, and extracurriculars. The staff are preparing my daughter and all students for life after high school no matter what they choose. It's been great to see.

If you believe a high school diploma is enough education for your child's future, then Roosevelt is a satisfactory choice. However, if your child wants to prepare to attend a four-year university, there are other schools in the area which are much more suitable. It was clear that Roosevelt prioritizes their sports programs over college preparatory and STEM classes, as well as overall academic vigor. Although both of our kids attend in-state four-year universities now, they both have required remedial training in math and science, at least. After discussing their high school experiences with their college peers, our kids were very surprised to hear just how many AP classes, STEM programs and related extracurricular activities other high schools offered. Do your research!

This school is great if you are into the sports side of education, but it is very sadly lacking when it comes to the arts. If you are not an athlete, this school has practically nothing to offer you. The quality of the Drama department, for example, is sad. The plays are never serious classics. They tend to be things like Zombeo and Juliet (a comical zombie adaptation of Shakespeare's classic tragedy "Romeo and Juliet"). The stage is not built right. I even question if it is tilted like a stage should be. The acoustics in the theater are also sadly nonexistent. Not to mention that the chairs are set up in a way that you can see right into the wings from the audience. It's built like a movie theater, not a theatrical stage. This is just one example of the quality of the arts at Roosevelt.

Ive got to say coming from a student RHS (roosevelt high school) that while the staff may be welcoming the school itself is terrible i HIGHLY dislike the people there and the school is set up TERRIBLEY i would rather do online school than spend another minute at rhs (coming from a very social person). Not to mention how the class system is set up and on an even less cared for but still mentionable note they dont even support workers permits there!!! overall i enjoy the staff as mentioned but besides the staff everything at rhs is TERRIBLE!!!!!!
