This is a horrible school for families, they don't support students mental health or allow the parents to be involved in the issue. The administration within the front office are all horrible people and am genuinely surprised they work with teenagers on a daily basis. please pray for the administration here as they lie to make you believe certain things about your child. Please look out for that if having a student attend here and please trust your judgment if your child is telling you something is wrong within the school.

This school has poor leadership and no compassion at all. The school administration issues punishments to students without investigating an incident that took place. The administration of this school also does not respect student’s explanation when they are asked to explain or provide a statement of an incident that took place. This school has no respect overall. Everyone got bullied and been called racial derogatory names while the school administration doesn’t do anything about it at all. There is lots of inequality and racism at this school since my freshmen year. School administrators state that they will do something about it but in reality, they do not and instead they investigate and attempt to find a way to make it look like the victim is now the perpetrator even though the victim is fully innocent. This school enforces harsh punishments to those students who don’t deserve it at all especially towards students who are a member of a colored ethnicity or race. I would recommend going to Frederick High School or Longmont High School instead as those two schools are a lot better with learning, teaching, academic support, family engagement, and safety. Both Longmont and Frederick High School have less power hungry administrators which is a lot better than Mead High School.

Great school. In a well situated place makes for easy access. Teachers seem like they really care about their students! Most of the time there’s usually a couple that you can tell don’t. However I have not found that to be the case here. The facilities are nice. Overall I’ve been extremely pleased with everything about this school.

This school was incredibly helpful in setting students up for success post-graduation. It was a welcoming and supportive environment in which I felt valued and appreciated which helped provide confidence in the classroom. The connections made within the high school were valuable and applicable post-graduation.

This school is egotistical, they have 0 god stuff about it. There is no respect at all. This would be a great school if you are in a click, otherwise, there is 0 opportunities for the other people who are not in sports, and that are not in a click. This school is about pushing, competition, in which this school has no fun, you really don't learn anything at all. There is a problem with all the sports including wrestling. Everyone in the sports are egotistical, in this case, the people who are not in a click don't get to play, they just get to sit on the benches and watch. The others who get to play are in clicks and are popular. Making those students arrogant. There is no peace at this school overall. There is 0 motivation. There is only winning and no losing which makes horrible teamwork which this school lacks. There is lot more I can say, though it would make this lengthy.

Sad I don't have other options. I must write more I guess, it has to be 7 words.

Average rating for an average school. The kids are for the most part inclusive and nice and reflective of small town spirit but there isn't a single faculty member, program, or club that stands out against others. Just mediocre all around. The orchestra is terrible.
