The teacher walk in when the students start and aren't prepared for class. Teachers yell at the students. Classmates bully and spit on each other, no action is taken by the Principle or teachers.

Great school! My daughter is reading beyond her grade level. The office staff is very helpful and friendly. My family and I were thinking about moving but after researching schools in the surrounding towns we chose to stick around just so my daughter could get a quality education.

My daughter just completed 1st grade at Legacy and after two years here I can honestly say that the school is average. Not excellent and not poor. The Common Core Curriculum that St. Vrain had adapted is very hard to understand and help with homework. My daughter is advanced and wasn't challenged nearly enough and was able to complete her homework on the bus. The spelling words in first grade were the same as Kindergarten. There also is a reward system called golden tickets that is nice, but sometimes golden tickets are given too easily for things that should be expectations of the kids and not going above and beyond. The PTO seemed burned out this past year too, waiting until day before or week of events to get volunteers and the student directory didn't come out until after Spring Break, which at that point why bother?! Overall the staff is attentive and Sean Corey, the principal is very involved in the day to day functions of the school, which is nice to see, but if you are looking for a school that challenges the gifted and talented this is not it.

Legacy is a great school! Excellent parent/teacher communication. My kids have fun while learning. Lions Den Childcare is excellent too! Kind and caring staff.

The school curriculum is not challenging enough for my son. He is never pushed to learn more and never has any homework.
