My daughter is a proud student at Columbine Elementary. The school is very organized, friendly, and helpful. We appreciate the teachers and staff as they are very professional. Never had a bad experience in the two years my daughter has attended. During the pandemic everything was organized and we never had trouble getting answers. They were fast when everyone was busy dealing with a very stressful time. Overall my experiences have been amazing. My daughter will continue her learning at Columbine Elementary.

We love this school. I can’t say enough good things about the teachers or the staff. The principal is really invested in the students and greets each one by name. The office staff is friendly and knows each family at the school. They are willing to help out in any way they can or answer any questions that we might have. Over the years, there hasn’t been a teacher that hasn’t been “the best teacher ever”. They have all been amazing with my kids. The really work to get to know each student and meet them where they are at. All of the grade level teams seem to get along so well and it really shows in how they work with the kids. Also, the numbers of students in each class has been small, between 16-19 students. Many of the students in the lower grades are ELL students. I’m amazed at how well they are able to learn both English and other subjects at the same time. At conferences and programs like back to school nights, the presentations are in both English and Spanish. I like that so many people are able to communicate in both languages. The other parents are friendly and will chat while waiting to pick up or drop off their children. There is a sense of community with the other families. I am so glad that my kids have gone to Columbine. I really think they are learning and thriving because of this great school. It is truly one of the best schools with the best teachers in Longmont.

My child Loves this school..The teachers are super sweet and amazing. I’ve never worried about my daughter while she is under their care and guidance. They are all for you child, if your child is needing extra help they go over and beyond to get the help that you child is needing or lacking to see the them succeed and reach there goals.Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within your child – their good behaviors and achievements; and they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner.Great team – great school!

All three of our children attend columbine and they love it! Our oldest has been going there since she was in preschool and next year will be her last year at Columbine Elementry, and we are very proud of how much she has grown and improved every year there. All the teachers and staff are very nice and very attentive with all my children whenever they need anything. Our son loves his first grade teacher, and looks forward to see what they do every week. Our youngest loves both of her preschool teachers, and can’t wait to start going all day like her big sister and brother in kindergarten. We would like to give thanks and want all the teachers and staff to know we appreciate you all, especially during this difficult time during this pandemic.

This is a hidden gem in Longmont. The staff is kind and nurturing. It feels like a community with parents involved on a daily basis. My kids are happy to go to school each day .

I have had two kids go through columbine elementary and there education from all teachers has been amazing. The third grade team was by far the best having such collaboration between teachers it was tough to know which one I was supposed to see for conferences. What a great school. It is a shame that the district and local families do not seem to realize the diamond they have in there local community.

I love this school. We are open enrolled here, I have all three of my children here 4th, 2nd, and Kindergarten. My daughter spoke no English when she started and now she is above grade level in 4th grade in reading and perfectly fluent in English. My son also had great experience with his teacher and is also above grade level in 2nd grade now and Fluent in english. My kindergartener went to preschool here and already knows how to read in english and spanish and is learning more than I expected she as well is fluent in both languages and is currently in all english class. The teachers have all been wonderful. This school you can tell they care about each individual child and family and they make it known, Debbie the front office clerk and Yvonne also are great to deal with and I love the fact that they take the time to get to know our children and families. When I have had to go they talk to all the kids that come by, by their name and for me I believe that is something that makes each child feel special. I have recommended this school to others and will continue to do so. They make it a point to leave no child behind and I love all of the staff for this.
