This school has been a good school for my children. It IS the teachers that make this school a good school. I would have rated this school higher but when my 3rd grader started struggling in his class, I started asking him what was wrong at first he wouldn't tell me. But after he started leaving his classroom crying enough was enough. He was not that he was misbehaving. It was because he was stressed. He even told the principal this ( WITHOUT ME THERE) Even after having a meeting with his teacher things still did not change. I also found out that there were other children transfered to another class. I just felt like the principal is not taking these situations seriously. I had to teach my 9 yr old child that just because one person doesn't make him feel special does not mean it's true.CHILDREN ARE LIKE FLOWERS...IF YOU STEP ON THEM THEY WILL NEVER GROW.

The school, staff and teachers are to commended. My children have attended Peterson since they were in Kindergarten, my youngest daughter will be moving on to middle school this next year, so we will be leaving Peterson. I cannot say enough great things about all the teachers, especially Ms. Parker this year, the entire school staff, nor will I ever be able to thank them for the love, care and commitment they provided. What a great experience... Thank you so very much Peterson staff!

Wonderful teacher parent evolvement, this school care for the students and does everything to make sure they are all getting a good education.

This school is the best. The staff is wonderful. They all are friendly and listen to each parent. The principal, Mr. Harris, does a wonderful job. He is always outside and about on the campus greeting parents and watching over the children. If there is ever any concern he makes sure to address it imediatley. Parents are very involved and all around the children love coming to school.
