Our daughter attended all grades at Grand View Elementary School. She had an amazing learning experience and excelled under the excellent teachers. Class sizes were small, all under 25 and the amount of extras was astounding including, music, art, science lab, dance, etc. The best part was the fact that was truly excited to go to class everyday and learn. Each grade's teacher was very good in our opinion and encouraged us to volunteer in class which we did. You can be involved as much or as little as you like here, either way we feel a child will get an education on par or better than private schools.The PTA does an incredible job of involving the community and raises huge amounts of money to further support. The school has almost all new facilities in 2022 and even a full time librarian.Given the level of affluence in the community most households make education a top priority. This lifts all children as motivation is contagious. Our child exited 5th grade well prepared for the next phase and even asked for Summer tutoring as her birthday present to get a head start at Manhattan Beach Middle School.Highly recommend!

Truly amazing teachers. Great programs, e.g., PE, music, art, sustainability, science lab, computer lab. Solid approach to teaching kids multiple ways to solve problems effectively.

Excellent teachers, strong parents, and the best librarian EVER. My daughter loves this school. She likes the morning exercises, but it doesn't compare to Miss Wood's PE class. Please bring her back.
