Frankly the principal Pamela Waite is completely unresponsive and does not take responsibility for anything occuring within her school. She is rude to parents and makes them feel as if bringing up concerns affecting their children is a bother to her day to day work and "job".

My experience at Spring Harbor was pretty bad. The principle does not do much about littering, so the school outside is trashy. They claim to be an environmental school, but all it is is just a garden. Nobody listens and the teachers dont help kids enough. I had a teacher once that let the kids do anything, i mean ANYTHING. This is my honest opinion. Go to Spring Harbor if you want but if i could have chose a different school, I would have. Some teachers are creepy too.

As with everything else, the school has positives but it also some down sides. I think everyone needs to go through the experience it for themselves in order to form an opinion - it is a great school for some and not suitable for others. My child switched to SH in 7th grade, after attending another middle school in the area. Overall, it has been a positive experience but there is always room for improvement. We will be going back to the previous school next school year.
