We have two kids at Loyola elementary! Loyola Elementary is an outstanding school with dedicated and caring teachers. The curriculum is challenging and engaging, and the staff is constantly seeking new ways to enhance the learning experience for their students. The school community is supportive and inclusive, making it a wonderful place for children to learn and grow. The extra-curricular programs are also excellent, providing a diverse range of activities for students to participate in. Overall, an exceptional school and I highly recommend it.

I have 2 children at Loyola now, and could not be happier. The teachers have been loving, helpful, and supportive. I received personal emails from teachers about concerns and progress regularly. The Loyola community is close knit, and there are many events and activities for families. My son who struggles academically loves coming to school because of how good he feels when he is there. There is a super low staff/student ratio, assuring that no child falls through the cracks. Loyola is a warm, caring environment where children thrive.

Blown away by the community, the teaching staff and the leadership as a whole. By far the best school in the area!

My son joined this school just a few months ago. Overall he is happy with his teacher (with good communications) and new classmates. After school programs also have more choices than his former elementary school. Finally, the lunch is way better than before, as parents can choose for the kid from the webpage. He likes this school.

I have sent two kids K-6 through Loyola and absolutely think the school is great. Kimberly is a wonderful principal and has an outstanding staff. The kids are challenged and the teachers are so motivated and just darn wonderful. They prepare the kids for Junior High (my oldest has had high honors at Junior High since inception) and provide a rounded curriculum with music art computer coding and the basics are covered as well. Although they are important I have never thought the school was all about tests, they just ask that your child eat a good breakfast and get extra sleep on test weeks. The school also cares about making kind human beings, constantly talking about bucket filling vs. bucket dipping, meaning being kind vs. hurtful and the majority of the kids there are good kids. At the same time my kids aren't overloaded with work and have time for extracurricular sports as well. I feel so lucky to have two kids that went there wouldn't have wished for anything different.

This school is all about test scores. The leadership is toxic. My daughter was picked on by teachers during her 5 years there because she didn't fit in the box they are building and was clearly uncomfortable with the saccharin emotional atmosphere. She was referred to 'resource' where the teacher there said she was too laid back for a school that he called "Stanford prep". Really? I thought it was a public neighborhood elementary school. Furthermore - the parents do a great job of running Project Cornerstone for the children, however the staff bully each other relentlessly. We moved out of district this year and my daughter is thriving. When I e-mailed the principal and school secretary that we were leaving - we recieved no farewell e-mail from the Principal who I can only presume was glad to see us go as we were taking up resources and not fitting in to her vision of the school and her career. No organization is all good or bad and there are some positive things about Loyola - wonderful caring parents and hard working students. It could be a great fit for you and your family - if you are looking for Stanford Prep.
